When the drain the river around Thunder Mountain, I wonder how many caps, cameras and pair of sunglasses they will find?!
What's the most unusual thing you think they'll find?
Probably a shoe. The other to the to one that was in the water near Orbitron for ages :)
Hopefully NOT a body!
I hope it won't be as bad as cleaning the canals in Amsterdam, but for sure they will find some personal items and maybe mostly garbage that people either threw in there on purpose or flew in their by accident.

That would be quit the story if that would happen! But let's hope that is not the case.

Gets my vote, definitely the vanishing groom, or maybe a pumpkin man that's fallen off that structure they put up connecting Thunder Messa and BTM at Halloween
I would say coins, maybe a shopping basket or two and some car tyres, oh wait I'm getting confused with the canals in Dublin..lol
HAHAH Tink i was just thinking the same thing!
wait thats the liffey :P
But surely if they find the groom they find a body :P
I'd absolutely love to know what they find!!! There's bound to be loads of interesting and WTF items for sure!! I hope they maybe post some pictures!!

He's under Pirates of The Caribbean, everyone knows that!
I wonder if he turned around in his cryo tube when they refurbed that into movie central pirates :D
A mattress,a bicycle or a tesco trolley :D for all you brits out there.
Would be great to know what they do find, it has been over 20 years though urrgghhh it probably won't be nice down there.
well defiantly my daughters tinkerbell top hat that she wore last year while on BTM...
she was gutted as she had had it for a few years and loved it , didnt think they would still do them ,but luckily while walking round discovery land they had them in star traders on sale so she was made up..
Hearing aids, prosthetic/ortothic body parts, crutches, a walking frame
It would be quite cool if they put on a display of the more unusual items, maybe also a display of all the rubbish people have thrown in as a way of saying "Come on people, respect the park", I'm sure their will be a mass of rubbish.
How about if they find cameras a display of any photo's that are retrievable, obviously not any that are personal photo's. The river must be a real time capsule in many ways.
Quick question, when is the lake scheduled to be drained again? I keep on forgetting *hangs head*.
Bambi's mother.
My first and second wife... oops shouldn't of said that!!! :o

I think a display of any unusual items is a great idea!
I'll bet on sunglasses, hats and ordinary glasses.

I'm wondering this as well, if anyone knows the answer it'd be very much appreciated! :)
Maybe the lollipop my son dropped back in 1993 after getting a fright when the geysers blew.

November 2nd.
I know a lot of wildlife has grown in the river, so I hope they'll save them...

That'll be why some of the restaurant menus are changing.

Lol! ;D
Sounds a bit like Epcot, where their restaurants serve fish which have been breeded at 'Living With the Land'.
The same goes for a fair amount of the vegetables served in the various parks.
The Living with the Land greenhouses are quite extensive, and very productive (did a behind the scenes tour in May, there's more than you'd think).
Probably a massive amount of small animals that live in the water and are gonna die because of the draining. Also a lot of seaweed.
If I just think about how many there are in our small pond in the garden which "developed" on their own...
November is early...and cold. I would have thought they'd wait through winter in order not to risk any pipes freezing or being damaged by frozen water

Once they've drained the river they don't have to worry about frozen pipes... I guess... ;)
