Just a quick question, there's a lot of people listing that the Disneyland Railroad will be closed between 31st August and January 2016 however this has not yet been listed on the official Disneyland Website calendar nor is it on the list for official closure for the major refurb programme (was thinking 4/5 months for a closure not listed is a bit much..), is there any truth behind it apparently being closed all that time? It's my first ride to get used to the park again so I'll be a little sad but hey ho what can you do..

Is it closed due to the work being done around the lake?
Hopefully they'll make the journey a bit more interesting. We've always found it to be very disappointing, with most of the journey surrounded on both sides by trees and hedges and very little of interest to look at.

Well, there were rumours about restoring the Geysers to their old functional glory, which would mean working close to the tracks. That alone would shut the Railroad down for a while for safety concerns.
