Does anyone know what will be replacing Captain EO?
It will be called Discoveryland Theatre from now on and it will host previews of upcoming films.
What? How boring. It was Honey I Shrunk the Audience the first time I went and was closed last June so I've not seen Captain EO
Surely it would be more fun if they played actual films that have been out for a while.
It's not like Disney has a shortage of movies.
That's slightly better, but still a waste of the space. It needs redeveloping into either something unique or a copy of a great attraction from another park. The screen in Café Hyperion could be used for movies without much effort, and would actually attract a few people (surely more than it does now)
I don't know if it's a temporary solution or it will be used later for the expansion of a Star Wars area, but it will be a preview theatre until 2017 for sure.
