Hi everyone, I've heard this book mentioned a few times and would really like to buy one. Does anyone know where I could buy one from and how much it would cost? I've looked around but can't seem to find any stockists :roll:

You can get it at The Storybook Store next to City hall in Main Street U.S.A. Its on the racks surrounding the counter. And i think it around 60 -70 euros. I maybe wrong, can anybody confirm it? . :?:

My boyfriend bought a copy of it from the storybookm store on Main Street and it was between 40-50 Euros. This version is in English and he bought it at Christmas just passed.
The storybooks tore is the best place to buy any DLRP book,cd or dvd :)
when I went in may, there only were french ones... I know they had the english ones before, but in the whole of the park, and in Village I only found the french version... we asked several CM's about it...

Now is the time to order the updated enlish version of From Sketch to Reality if you can't pick it up at Disneyland because Alain Litaye is offering it on his site with free shipping :D . I just ordered it myself yay! The cost is currently 50 Euro or 75 dollars and he uses paypal which I haven't used in ages and ages but it went well.

I've just bought the new version and read it front to back just after xmas. Although I never read the first version. I believe the difference in the updated version is it's language ie English.
You will also find a reference to the Buzz Lightyear ride. And a mention of SPace mountain mission 2. I'm pretty sure it doesn't mention the studios.

No, there are quite a few articles that you don't get a discount on. I don't know all but I was denied discount on non-DLRP DVDs and CDs (like movies and movie soundtracks), books ...
In addition to that, there are also articles that you don't get the full 20% DreamPass discount. Last time I bought a snow globe and only got 10%. As reason I was told that the 20% are only up to a certain price (~50 EUR?), after that it is only 10%.

I got myself an English copy in the Storybook Store on Main Street last week. They had plenty there (as opposed to Harringtons on Main Street, which only had a couple of French versions out).

It says the cost to ship to England including the price of the book is €115. Will this be subject to customs fees and import fees? Also it says to pay by paypal which isn't a problem but im a bit nervous of paying to someone i dont know has anyone else done this?

There won't be any fees within the EU - I'm guessing that's standard 'international shipping' text.
It's an absolutely wonderful book - easily the best I've ever owned. I often get it out and spend hours looking at the photos. There is a huge section on Pirates of the Caribbean which usually gets most of my attention. I bought mine in DLP when it first came out and can't recommend it highly enough.
I too got this wonderful book in DLP when it first came out, it wasn't cheap but definately worth every penny, cent, euro!!! I can recommend it to anyone who like me loves Disney (mind you you wouldn't be reading this if you didn't)!

I have just ordered this on Amazon.co.uk for £100. Although it is to be released in May 2012, the dispatch date to me is 1st June 2012. I had considered ordering as above but was unsure about payment but I am more confident to have ordered through Amazon.
I think I will be paying roughly the same as others who have ordered directly from Alain Littaye, through the above link, as although I am paying in pounds there is no postage.
I wasn't really looking for this book I was looking for the new Disneyland Paris 20th Anniversary book so this is a bonus !

Hi Sven, not sure if you were referring to my post above but if you were I was not talking about a better or worse deal,just an alternative. I thought there may be others,like me, who were unsure about the payment method and who could not send their money in advance . I have not paid for my book yet as Amazon will not take my money until dispatch.I prefer this method to obtain the book even if I do not receive the gift from Alain and I probably will receive the book after all the others. Being a new DLRP fan, can anyone suggest to me, from where I can buy this book(in English) in Paris.
You can buy it from the author directly, look at the right column at https://disneyandmore.blogspot.com/ - but he asks for 250 euro per book, so perhaps better check online merchants for used copies - or buy the ebook, also listed on that page where to get that.
