Ive finally booked Newport Bay for August. I have been assured that all standard rooms have been refurbished but wondered when all refurbishments will be finished as haven't been warned of any work going on. Also is there any dress code for men in the pool? I was looking at the Explorers at first and that stated speedos had to be worn lol.
Also we would like to do a character meal and Buffalo Bill so im wondering if its worth getting half board vouchers. 1 more question - if you book the character meal now it only states a date and not a time, when can you confirm the time and how do they monitor it as we may end up with an unsuitable time.

The Disney hotel pools have no requirement for speedos - swimming shorts are acceptable in all of them. I'm surprised that the Explorers pool stipulates speedos. I thought it was only municipally owned pools in France that enforced men to wear them.
