Title: We want to book for Xmas 2015, help!
Post by: ~sarahjayne~ on September 12, 2014, 12:08:37 PM
Hi everyone,
We are already planning our next visit (have only been home a week!  :D)

When is it possible to book for next Xmas? We will need a family room and another room to sleep 4, also when are we likely to get the best deal? We want to stay at the DLH again and are taking our older kids this time.

My other question is about travel, we usually drive but looking into the train or flying. Again when will we get the best deals?
We'll be 7 adults and 2 children

Thanks xx

Flights aren't usually available until 11 months before you want to go. With offers, there are always plenty all the time so just keep looking and when you see a good one, just book it.

Winter holidays next year should be available to book from the end of October this year but this may just be for November next year and not December. My family are looking to go for Christmas season next year as well but in November. Flights should be available from November/December this year as well. The best offers are the early booking offers for free nights and free days but I don't know exactly when they will be available  :D

I have been told end of October, we are in the same position  :D

this is the email I got from Walt Disney Travel Company

Dear Ms Pollard,

Thank you for your email.

Guests will be available to make Christmas 2015 Disneyland Paris reservations from the end of October 2014.

Disney's Newport Bay Club will have family rooms available that sleep 5 guests.  These are request rooms and are not bookable online so you would need to call us to check availability and book.

We only have our Freephone number 0800 169 0737 which is free to call from any landline.  We are unable to advise what your mobile provider would charge to call us from a mobile.

If you are unable to locate a landline to call us from please contact us nearer the time and we can arrange for a Disney Expert to call you.

We hope we can welcome you to Disneyland Paris soon.

Kind Regards
Jamie

Brochures 'expected to drop' (his words not mine) on the 22nd of October :)

I just asked 'Maxwell' on live chat on Disneyland Paris website. Woo hoo, so excited to be booking even though it's such a long time away.

Are you hoping to go for actual Christmas or just close? We are still debating if it's worth the extra cost... maybe we'll just go the first day of the school holidays and come back 23rd or Christmas Eve... but I REALLY want to be there for Christmas Day... is it worth it - Maybe that's a new question that needs asking.

It's my birthday 22nd dec and my husbands the 29th, so we will go for one of our birthdays but would like to be home for Christmas Day  because our older 3  children won't be coming.

Think we are going to go Sunday 20th and come home Christmas Eve. We did think about going for Xmas but I think it will be a lot more expensive!! Xx

Checked the school dates, priced up the hotels! Just need to decide on sequoia or Newport!!!! I was disappointed to see that Bistrot Chez Remy has been removed from the Plus menu though and only available as a premium dining package now! 😢

Exciting, we will be going for NPB as there are 5 of us, would have preferred Sequoia so we could upgrade to GF and get Fastpasses... (I think, if I understood it right...) but no options for 5 people.

Bistrot must be popular then, I think we will freestyle the food options, or add them nearer the time...

:)

Ooh can NPB have five in a room? We are trying to convince our friends to come with us but thought they would need two rooms?

I don't know Ron! I noticed today when I was pricing up the trip that the choice of plus plan restaraunts had gone down to 20 and when I looked, Bistrot Chez Remy wasn't on the plus list only the premium list! Hoping they change it before we go as it was definitely the nicest restaurant we ate in while we were there x

When I was looking at the restaurant listing (on the newly redesigned UK site) Remy was indeed not listed under the plus plan options, but also not listed under the premium option.
And I don't think I saw the list of restaurants in their 15/16 brochure either.

And the Dutch site was even more useless as the updated brochures weren't even live yet. ;)

They certainly made it harder to find the proper restaurant list for all plans which is quite unfortunate.
The count is correct at 20, you're certainly right there.

Booked ;D only 421 days to wait now :p

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b95oyhSd5ls

Yes, two doubles and a sofa bed apparently in the NPB, also 5 person rooms in the Santa Fe I have been told. I couldn't book it on line, had to do the call back thing. More expensive than a 4 bed room, but cheaper than having to book two for certain.

Looks like the meal plans have changed completely though. No Standard option at all when I looked, just hotel or Plus. Make it much less likely for us to book one when hubby and the kids would be happier with McDonalds anyway.

I found the new site hard to navigate with broken links as well.
