Title: universal studios paris
Post by: dmmosh69 on August 18, 2014, 04:19:07 PM
hi this isn't so much my ideas but more other peoples

I know DLP has lots of financial issues but I think this is mostly from bad decisions from concept to opening

but I feel like in the last few years it is starting to come into its own and pulls in decent guest numbers and because of this I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of universal opening up in Paris ?
does anyone else think this would be a good idea or is this just good in my head and realistically its not practical

I think that just aiming to have the 1 universal park, similar to the size at Singapore and a hotel seems like a fair aim and with the current line up of well themed and popular films like harry potter and transformer being apart of it universal is very up to date with its offerings that appeal to the public

im curious to get peoples ideas on this and not just universal, any other or the Florida parks like bush or LEGOLAND creating a potential theme park hub
and if anyone has there own Imagineering to share im happy to read and look

thanks

This would be my absolute dream come true! I love the Universal parks in Orlando, but I just can't afford to take the family there. I am sure there are many, many reasons that this couldn't happen, is there enough space for example? But, personally  I think this is just a no brainer  ;)

I would like to have Universal in Europe, but not in Paris! Disneyland Paris would loose so many visitors to Universal, because Universal is great on its own, and many people are going to Universal because they have great rides - Disney too, but on their on way.

Disney and Universal are competing enough in other countries, so we do not need such a competition here. Walt Disney World is very strong, but would DLP be strong when Universal makes a huge investement here? I don't think so.

I think you mean Port Aventura. It has been something from Universal earlier but changed then.

The same with Moviepark Germany I think. But thats not sure.

Moviepark Germany is a Warner Bros. location. ;) Has very little to do with Universal Studios as a result.
