15th Anniversary Merchandise
Everything about general 15th Anniversary merchandise!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Does anyone know if there will be special merchandise for the 15th ? In this forum was already the new photoframe posted, but are there just other things ?

Yes!  The amount of new stuff is incredible!

QuoteIt all began with a photo frame... and then the onslaught began! With less than 18 days to go until the 15th officially gets underway, they aren't taking any chances in the merchandise department. You want pens, postcards, placemats, playing cards? They're all covered. And you forgot to bring enough clothes for your anniversary dream? Don't worry - you can practically get a whole new, 15th Anniversary wardrobe.

I was originally going to try and buy most of it... but now I think I'll just take photos when I get there.  So I can have a photos-of 15th merchandise collection.

Edit: I've made this the official topic for everything about the 15th merchandise.

Hehe, and I first wondered how Disneyana can create such a "professional" topic  :P ;)

Oh my God, the stuff just looks soooo great!! Will it all be available til the end of the anniversary?
Then I'll buy so much of it :)! Especially the t-shirts, cups and tins are so nice! Will there also be glasses with the 15th logo?
Title:
Post by: Kristof on March 14, 2007, 11:32:22 PM
I'm sure plenty of stuff will pop up soon.

PS. There's also a big umbrella with the 15th visual on it (we bought it 2 weeks ago!)

I think I will buy the mug. It's very beautiful and then it will remember me of the best year ever. Are there also some 15th anniversary plush puppies ?

*Crosses fingers* I'll be gutted if I don't get at least 1 15th Anni thing with Cheshire on it.

I bought one of the mugs, and used it a couple of times, and a small piece of the decal has started to come away. I'm very disappointed about that!

 :(

Probably end up getting some more stuff with the 15th Anniversary branding on when I go back next March.

Just curious, but did you put it in a dishwasher?  Some mugs are not usually ideal for dishwasher conditions.  I know this because we have two identical year 2000 Mickey around the world beer looking glasses and they both have got hardly any mickey on them now.  Stupid us for putting them in a dishwasher  .

I'm going on Moday and was just wondering if anyone who has been recently has found what shops they are selling the wine in the 15th anniversary bottles, they are apparently selling.

Thanks

You will find the wine, NOT in the disneyland park, try your hardest to look further away.  the only shops I found it in were the Newport bay Club, Cheyenne and I suspect Sequioa Lodge sells it too.  Seems that Disney are trying their hardest to keep as much alcohol out the parks as possible.

We went into the hotel shops at DLH, HNY, NPBC, SL, CDC, all of them had the wine on sale - 1 red, 1 white, 15€ each - we've got ours (the red was a gift from the DLH)

Dlrp.fr reports;

From the source Dlrp.fr explains that the special Disneyland Paris Jumbo pin was sold in many shops around the Disneyland Park and cost  45€ each. The Pin marked the day of Disneyland Paris Opening 15 years ago.

I wish i was there to get one !  :(

45 euros! i hope all the merchandise aint this much!!
Title:
Post by: Patrick on April 13, 2007, 04:03:10 PM
This pin really does look rather tacky, I definately much prefer the countdown pins.  Also 45€, really isn't that a bit much :? .
Title:
Post by: fly_with_me_dumbo on April 13, 2007, 04:10:00 PM
thats what i thought for a snowglobe or something along those lines but for something so tiny, its a rip of really!
Title:
Post by: Anthony on April 13, 2007, 06:35:01 PM
All the pins are a rip off... and this one is super ugly!!  The countdown pins were much nicer.  I noticed quite a few of these "jumbo" pins around (lady & the tramp for example), none of them selling very well at all...
Title:
Post by: Nala_84 on April 13, 2007, 08:56:49 PM
Won't there be a "pure" Disneyland 15 pin? F.e. just the logo or the castle with a 15 on it??
Title:
Post by: Jayna62 on April 13, 2007, 09:40:33 PM
:pluto: I have seen the Jumbo pin and it is reallly nice. Wished I had one but  got there to late  :( .
Title:
Post by: Masamune on April 14, 2007, 10:31:51 AM
:o I like the pin, but 45 Euros is bloody ridiculous for a pin.
Title:
Post by: Samninetysix on April 14, 2007, 11:01:50 AM
It sold out in 25 minutes according to everyone we spoke to, even some of the pin traders hadn't managed to get them

Wow, I remember the rumour that the parade would also be made into snow globes, but wow it looks amazing.  I definately need one on my next visit.  It's definately a perfect design for a snowglobe, especially since lately disney have been creating very generic designs. :)
Title:

*bump* ;)

Baloo, I've seen a 15th-logo-pin on your homepage which will be released today I think (for 6 Euros). So will this pin now be available for the whole anniversary time? Please say "yes" ;)

@ mousy.be: Your parade snowglobe looks awesome

Hmmm... let me see.......  "Yes" :P

Well, it's not a limited edition, so *hopefully* they'll continue selling it the entire year.  I'm sure they've made more than enough of them.

It's great that there's finally some nice 15th merchandise now, rather than the boring dark blue generic stuff.  I've never been interested in snow globes before, but that one might just have to be my first... :?
Title:
Post by: Anonymous on April 21, 2007, 04:31:49 PM
It must be quite a size that snowglobe. If I recall, the Fantasia Mickey figurine stood alongside it is quite big. I got the World Disney ship snowglobe and the Castle with all the characters last month, and I'd imagine this to be bigger than both of them.
Title:
Post by: Nala_84 on April 22, 2007, 12:27:42 PM
Great Baloo, you've said the right words  :P I'm really looking forward to this pin, it looks really great! :)

Are there some 15-glasses or breakfast bowls appeared until now? I hope they'll sell some througout the year...
Title:
Post by: miss disney fan on April 22, 2007, 01:26:40 PM
i'm thinking the same as you Nala, im hoping they have enough of the 15th Anniversary Merchandise to buy all though the year as i'm going in for the christmas season it would be nice to buy some for the birthday year  :?

I don't think there are any 15th anniversary glasses, but did notice some very nice designed 15th anniversary wine glasses being sold in Harringtons.

Yes of course , this one is €95,- just like the other 15th anniversary globes
(lion king float , Moon float , Princess Float, Book ) It is not as large as you think. I think it is about 30 cm long and
16 cm wide ,I like it but it isn't  beautifull as the first float .

To be honest though, the boxes they are packed in are so large, I don't think you could get them back in hand luggage.

4 15th Anniversary Pins (the oval ones)
A photo album
A small magnetic photo frame
a mini tray thingy (for my gran to put her change in)
2 rain ponchos ( it rained on the last day )

I was going to buy one, but I decided I'd rather try and fill up my good old autograph book from April 2005. :P

I was going to buy one, but I decided I'd rather try and fill up my good old autograph book from April 2005. :P

did you see how much that was  :?:

i really hope they have some left in stock when i go, it sounds good  :D

:( Sorry, I can't remember how much it was. :) But it shouldn't be too expensive. We found that all the 15th Anniversary merchandise was pretty fairly priced. And they were selling that item all over the place, so they're bound to have some when you get there. :D

Oh I will definatly buy one of the snowglobes. Maybe one of the ones with all the Chracters or the moon float. I still can't decide. I guess my husband will help me choosing one. But aren't there any 15th birthday plushies ? Like Minnie or Mickey in their 15th outfitt ? I really want to have a Minnie in the nice blue dress.

The logo on the Coke bottle is the one which appeared very early this year in this forum as the official 15th anniversary logo. But I'M sure you recgonized it all !

Can't wait to go to DLP and buy all the nice stuff. Only 8 weeks left.

Yes they do. I bought a lovely postcard depicting the castle, where the (in reality golden statues of) characters on top of the castle are photoshopped on in full colour, with their candles lit. Lovely picture with lovely colours, and golden stars in the sky. ;) I bought it in the toys store on Main Street.

It's so long ago anyone posted something here, which I find it's a pity because I looove 15th-stuff and I'm curious what I can buy in 2 weeks !

DisneyAlba & others: Do you have a picture of the 15th-postcards? But nice to hear they have some, thanks :)

I finally found a mug that I'd love to buy, hope it's still available when we're there:

(photo from http://www.disneymagicinteractive.com/f ... &start=135 (http://www.disneymagicinteractive.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1657&postorder=asc&start=135))

Does anyone know how much the mug is and where I can get it? I'm sure at least the Disney Store in the Village keeps 15th Merchandise?!
Title:
Post by: DisneyAlba on September 10, 2007, 03:53:07 PM
Nala,

Sorry, I don't have a picture of the postcard...

As far as that mug is concerned: you can buy it everywhere! Seriously. Almost every shop. From hotel boutiques to the Christmas shop in the castle... Everywhere. They sell "15th anniversary" mugs 'blank', but also with the word 'mum', 'dad' or 'best friend' on the handle. (If I remember correctly). They also sell another mug, which I personally find prettier, which does not just depict the 15 but the bigger logo with all the characters. This mug can be seen in the picture Baloo posted on the first page of this thread, on the left:

Quote from: "Baloo"(//http://www.dlrpmagic.com/today/2007/03/images/14-merchandise-01sm.jpg)

Hmm, come to think of it, I'm not sure which of the two mugs is available with the words on the handle... Ah well, something for yourself to discover.

I noticed this mug too. I wonder what made them decide to make a new one with the "publicity" 15th logo rather than the "merchandise" 15?

A lot of the 15th merchandise seems so dark and boring to me, it doesn't seem to sell very well either. They should make some with the same design as the banners around the parks, nice and bright.
Title:
Post by: Nala_84 on September 10, 2007, 08:48:16 PM
@ DisneyAlba: Thank you! :) Hehe yeah, I've already seen the character mug but was always searching for one that has the 15th logo on it, so this "new" one fits more into the style I like ;)!

@ Baloo: Hehe, somehow I just love that classy and simple logo with castle, 15 and Tinkerbell on it ;)! I think most of the 15th merchandise is a bit "cheesy" (hope that's the right word, we would say "kitschig") or more for kids. So this mug is something I was really waiting for, maybe a glass of it would be even better   But you're right, merchandise with the logos of the banners would be great, too!

The blanket was 39.90 euros and this one was the only colour avaliable. I bought it (well actually Brian my partner got it for me  ) in a big shop in Disney Village but i can't remember if the Disney Store or the other...
There was a matching cushion in the same colour but i dont know the price of it i am sorry.
