I have a little story to share :)
It was in the year 2000 when I first got to visit Disneyland Paris. I was 10 and simply blown away :) ... now I'm 22 and since then I have a little memory that I can't get out of my head... Me and my family were shopping on Main Street U.S.A. and something caught my eye... It was a "Beauty and the Beast"-Teaset it was designed after Mrs. Potts and Chip, but it had no faces on it!!! as one might expect ;) This little fact made it even more interesting, because it didn't scream "Disney" , and you had to look twice to recognize it... As much as I like everything with Disney on it, I think such items with just a little reference on them are sometimes more special.
Much to my dismay, my mother didn't want to buy it for me :( (Shame on her!!! :P )
My question now is did someone else see or actually buy it??? I would love to see a photo of it... just to prove that it did really exist... and not just in my Imagination... I would then show it to my mother, to give her a bad conscience :D
Have you looked on EBay ?
They have some pictures of Beauty and The Beast Tea Sets on there.
I did... :)
But most of them are designed with the characters faces on them... or even with Belle printed on... what I saw back then was a simple tea set just with the blue/purple/pink decorations on it and without any faces on it... :|
The Disney Store released a limited edition one a few years ago to coincide with the release of Beauty & the Beast in 2010.
They also did a Lumiere Candle Stick and a Cogsworth Clock.
