Title: Alternative Disneyland Paris Posters
Post by: DedicatedToDLP(Steve) on May 18, 2012, 03:45:43 PM
I wanted to have a go at creating a poster for Pirates of the Caribbean in Disneyland Paris that was very different to the actual poster and so that's what I did during my lunch break today. Thought it would be fun for others to share their poster creations too.

I like this thread (i was just in need for a new hobby)

Why did you go for a late '60s look for an attraction set in the 17th century?

Nice poster Rafael, I like the lightning.

Q - I went for that style as I wanted something completely different to the usual posters associated with the attraction. It does fit when you think that POTC was created in the 60s :D

That was the way I interpreted it when I saw it. It fits the time it was created.

But i think this puts the poster *outside* the story (for how much i love that kind of style)

I like it - it's an appropriate twist on a classic.

Thought I'd contribute - a poster for my favourite place in Fantasyland, The Sword In The Stone.
I tried to pay homage to the original style of the film, whilst making a wee bit modern - adding in some that hipster/Instragram look that's so popular nowadays ;)
