We truly enjoyed the show last year when we went, we loved all of the interaction and supporting your team, such fun!  We are visiting DLRP later this year and we would very much like to do the show again, But we have opted into the half board meal voucher scheme which means we have Plus vouchers (not Premium like last time) we were wondering if like at some of the restaurants we can use the vouchers at face value and pay the difference?

Ive read that this isnt recommended for people with respiratory/breathing related problems.  Is it really that bad?  My son has cystic fibrosis and my mum has asthma both of which are well controlled but are classed as respiratory problems.  Is this warning due to the dust on the floor when the horses are running and gunsmoke etc?

We would be using our Half Board Premium vouchers which, I think, seats you a bit further up from the action, so maybe it wont be a problem.

Many years ago we went to Fort Liberty/Wild Bill's in Florida and my mums asthma wasnt affected at all so maybe this will be the same.

I understand that all rides, shows etc carry warnings to cover themselves in the result of any illness or injury being incurred and most of the time its just Health and Safety gone mad but thought Id ask peoples opinions on what its like in there.

Thanks a lot!

 :D

Hi, I have slight asthmatic problem but don't always need my inhaler, I have been twice to Buffalo Bill's and on each occassion had breathing problems; it always started when the buffalo come into the arena as they are running around and kicking up a lot of dust. The horses etc. also run about but don't seem to kick up dust like the buffalo. I enjoyed the show but was wheezing for a few hours after the show. My mother uses her inhaler all the time but I would not book the show when she came to Disney with us,as I was fearful of what might happen. It all depends on how controlled the condition is; the show is good but is it worth taking the chance, I went but only because I thought I could control it; I soon realised I couldn't. I wish you well in whatever you decide. :D

Thanks for your response mickeyspal I ereally appreciate your experience being shared.

I will certainly relay this to my Mum and see what she thinks.  I know that in my sons case he likely wont be affected as I sat at the circus in the front row with him and there was a lot of dust and grass and straw and such like flying at us then from the horses, camels etc and he wasnt affected but not sure about how Mum might feel.

As you say it certainly isnt worth taking the risk at all so Ill see what she thinks.

Thanks againf for your input- its greatly appreciated!

I would assume its valid for anyone who has a valid annual passport. There's also something about getting free tickets if you are there the month of your birthday.

I'm not sure I understand your English. My friend had a birthday 30.07 (last day of previous month) and we'll be there around the 14th 8th - There will be a free ticket? Is there any discount for holders of AP? How much and what are the conditions? A 39 Euro per ticket is only when booking online? Thank you!

Will be going to watch Buffalo Bill in 1 month time...is it best if we book before? Or will I be able to find qty 6 seats for the show and be able to buy tickets from there?

Last time I went in 2010 I was told its better if you dont book in advance online,as you would find space available on the day itself...any suggestions guys? :)

It depends on who you ask really.  Some would say its better to book it in advance to rest assured but from what I've been hearing they havent been filling the seats for a long time and you pretty much get a good view from wherever you sit.

Title: Buffalo Bills with Meal Vouchers
Post by: SophieJade on August 11, 2012, 01:33:19 AM
Hi there. My boyfriend and I are heading out to DLP next month, and want to do Buffalo Bill's while we're there. We're staying at the Sequoia Lodge and have the meal plan vouchers which specify we can apply the value towards the Buffalo Bill second tier seating. I was just wondering if it was possible to book this in advance, as the online booking asks for full payment? Our meal vouchers are worth 31.50 euros, and I think the seating is 60 euros, so we'd be paying 28.50 euros excess each?

However, we were also told about this website that sells much cheaper Buffalo Bill tickets: http://www.ticketnet.fr/manifestation/idmanif/252080 (http://www.ticketnet.fr/manifestation/idmanif/252080%22%20target=%22_blank%22%20rel=%22nofollow)

I was wondering if anyone had used this? I was thinking that, as we'd be paying about 28.50 euros each anyway, wouldn't we be able to instead buy the 30 euro tickets from this website, and then still be able to use our meal vouchers that day - in effect, paying 1.50 euros for an extra table service meal, perhaps for lunch.

Have I got this right? Any advice appreciated!

Get your Travel Agent to do it for you or telephone them direct.  Ive got HB premium and the travel agent booked it for us.  However Ive been hearing that Bufallo Bills hasnt been full or near full at any sitting for a while so booking may not be neccessary but its always safer to be booked I guess.
Title: Re: Buffalo Bills with Meal Vouchers
Post by: jonathan on August 12, 2012, 05:45:46 PM
Ive booked a night at Buffalo Bills via my travel agent using my HB Premium vouchers.  Theyre worth about 55 euros or something like that.  No payment is required via the travel agent when booking direct with Disney.

You could easily use your meal vouchers elsewhere and still pay to go to Buffalo Bills.  Its the same as using your vouchers for a meal at lunchtime and then paying for a meal in the evening.

We have 2 disabled children who now have annual passes which means we go in as carers (its not like you can go off and do your own thing and having to go on space mountain twice is very draining had to sit out for half an hour last time)
Do they do disabled concessions as well on Buffalo Bill.
The 50% discount looks fab as we will be there over the weekend  any ideas?

We will be going to DLRP from the 16th October for 3 nights and I'm wondering about booking BBWWS for our last night.

I have a couple of questions for people who have booked their tickets through the freanch site linked in this thread. I haven't gone through the whole process, bu the e-tickets from the French site seem to be open tickets: is that true? Or do you have to specify the date? Also there seem to be two prices classes, which I assumed meant the tiers of seating, but I see on the Disney site that there are also differences between the early and late show. So what does the price difference on the French site mean? Time or tier?

My french is rubbish, so I'm nervous about picking out the wrong options!

I've had a look, the difference in price is only linked to the time of the show (it's slightly cheaper for the 21:30 one). Places are for the cheaper seating area, but you can get an upgrade for 13 EUR.

You also choose the exact date you want; afterwards you get a voucher that you exchange for the actual tickets when you get to BBWWS.

Hope this helps!

Ah, I thought so, but always worth checking these things. We'd be going for the earlier performance, as 9.30 would be far too late for our 6 year old to be a) eating and b) starting to watch a show.

Would the upgrade price be 13 euros for a child as well? And how much better is the more expensive seating area? I gather that the food is the same for everyone, so no difference there.

The same price seemed to apply to adults and children, so I'd say yes, the 13 euro upgrade is probably the same for both.

I can't tell you how much better the other places are, I've only been on the cheaper ones, and a long time ago!!

I think it should be celebrating it's 20th anniversary to. We saw Disney on Ice last week and said to DW that they should import that into BBWWS theatre for the Xmas season, For repeat visitors it is a bit annoying that it has remained pretty much the same for so long.

Hi,

For anyone going to B.Bill Ticketnet.fr is genuine,I used it for the first time this October.  All went smoothly, so I certainly wouldnt book any other way from now on.  In fact we had the same exact seats as we had this in the old days when it was all one price.  I would recommend them to anyone.  :D

Oh and they offer insurance with Mondial for 3 euro.  I printed out 2 copies as was worried that the first one didnt look perfect, but had absolutely no trouble at all.

I'm also considering doing the show with tickets from ticketnet.fr, but there are still some things unclear to me.
The website mentions that the tickets are only valid on monday, tuesday, friday and sunday. Furthermore it states that you have to make reservations at least 5 days beforehand.  Are these reservations made by telephone or are they done through the online ordering process? As I'm visiting thursday to saturday I only have one option, and I would hate it if my tickets end up being unusable.

B.Bill doesnt show on Wednesdays or Thursdays anymore.  From what I understand the reservation they refer to is just the booking of the tickets online-i definitely didn't ring or email them.  We just showed up on the night, I will admit I was a bit nervous as everyone around us had the small park size tickets but we had absolutely no problems.  The only thing I did was made sure that the printed tickets were as perfect as possible-I also printed out a second copy just in case anything happened to the first,  I did purchase the 3 Euro insurance (which is the same company as Disneyland Paris use) as I'm a little paranoid about stuff, but didn't need it.  I will definitely book with them again as the saving is huge.  Hope you sort tickets out.  Have a great trip!

You get your food whilst watching the show so not an option without food, but i suppose you dont have to eat it  ;)

The show is about 2 hours long so really depends on whether she would be able to sit and watch for that long without getting bored.

Hmmm I think she would be ok as there would be things to watch, the thing is we don't like chilli - it's a bit expensive not to eat it, maybe we will give it a miss

Thanks

The chilli is just the adult starter. Dylan is 12 so has to have the adult meal and doesn't like chilli but he eats the main which is sausage, chicken, potato wedges etc and then apple pie after.  The children get sausage, chicken, potato wedges and ice cream.

It is good, especially if you've never seen it before, we are going twice over christmas

There's a link on the BBWWS thread for tickets for 30 Euros which makes it much more reasonable, especially when you think a hotdog and chips in Caseys is over 10 Euros each  ;)
This is the link ..... http://www.ticketnet.fr/Resultat?ipSearch=buffalo+bill (http://www.ticketnet.fr/Resultat?ipSearch=buffalo+bill%22%20target=%22_blank%22%20rel=%22nofollow)

yes, but they won't get a seat - they will have to sit on your lap or in between you and your partner on the bench-style flip-up seats. They won't get a meal either, so they'd have to share yours (I don't really like the food at BBWWS, and my daughter likes it even less, so sharing the bits that you like at BBWWS then going for a pizza/McDonalds later might work out fine for you if the BBWWS ticket price is low enough).

We've took our youngest (1 and 3), and a year ago when they were even littler.  It's very loud, but there's plenty going on to keep little ones entertained, and it's a good night out.
Title: Buffalo Bill Annual Passholder Reservations
Post by: mattboywonder on December 22, 2012, 01:13:50 PM
As an Annual Passholder, I have had an email to tell me I can attend Buffalo Bill Wildwest Show for free during the month of my birthday and bring 6 guests with me at a discounted rate.  The email quotes a reservations telephone number to call, which is a number in France.

I have called this number today (after a bit of trouble getting through) to make a booking for next weekend and was told I could only make the booking for the additional 3 people and not for myself (as it would be free for me) - meaning if I booked those3  tickets and it was full on the day, I would not get it!!

I was told to book on the day at the location.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?  I am concerned that it will be full and we won't get it.

What is the point of them quoting a reservations number on the email when they won't take the booking.

I wanted to pay for the others as part of their Xmas presens which I why I wanted the reservation confirmed.  I will be seriously disspointed if it is booked up on the day!!

Thanks

I'm fairly sure the normal booking number were very helpful for me when I took advantage of the same offer last winter - give them a call and say what they say. I got a reservation number for both my free ticket and the reduced price one for my daughter with the same offer.

I've just booked (using the ticketnet link above) to see the show next Monday (good job I booked it today as you have to book a week ahead). €31.45 for the 21:30 performance including print at home. I am super excited.
It will be only my third time ever and my first in over 10 years (went with family in 1997 and with college in 2001/2)
Has much changed? I think Mickey is in the show now, how does that work?

Hi  I visited last year with my two children who were 7 and 4. We absolutely loved the show. Mickey and friends are now incorported into the show which takes on the format of performers completing challenges on behalf of teams which the audience is split into (four teams from what I remember) each team is given a colour coded cowboy hat,  is sat together in the arena and is cheered on by a team 'clown'.

When you arrive at the show everyone is rounded into a bar type area - it can get quite crowded but you are not here for long - this is a good time for kiddies loo visits as once seated it can be a challenhge getting out of your row to visit the bathroom.

The show itself is action packed and mickey and friends making regular appearances throughout- the audience is also encouraged to sing along and bang cutlery - which the kids love!!! Overall a great show which incorporates the Disney characters really well.

TOP TIP: When you first arrive in the arena don't be put off by the smell once inside and seated it isnt that noticeable!!

Just want to say thank you all of you who have put money saving tips on here. =D>

Even though I have been going to DLP for a long time i have never seen BBWWS. Main reasons are a mother who would not go because she "didn't like the food' and then more recently due to children. However we have now convinced my mother to go and the children are at an age that i think they would enjoy and appreciate the show and food. Well anyway i looked to book on the normal sites and then checked here- yes! you kind people gave me the wonderful ticknetnet.fr site.  There are 7 adults, 4 children and 2 infants who are going so it was a great saving for all of us, i have saved about £100 on the price of a family of 4 for the show!  :D/

We are now all looking forward to watching the show as it is going to break up our week.  :D

Yes, first come first served and keep in mind that 1st category has a separate queue (we didn't realise the first time,
because the "normal" queue was so long and there was no sign at the ticket-counter to form two queues)
But don't worry, you will have a good view from every place.
I don't know if you can pre-book a special seat number, though.

QuoteDo you have to pre-book the vegi option?
I'm not absolutely sure wether you tell the CMs when receiving your seat-number-tickets or right after that in the area where you can order alcoholic drinks to be served to your seat.

1) now I have e-tickets do I just queue as normal and hand them over at main desk in BBWWS?

2) what time is it recommended to start to queue from? We are going to see the 6:30pm show.

Thanks :-)

I think we went in about an hour earlier than our show. There is a huge bar for refreshments and a stage show also (we watched some squaw doing a dance with hula hoops, was pretty good to be fair)

Hi guys,

This is a long shot but here it goes.

We have just come back from Disneyland on Monday gone. We went over from Friday the 26th to the following Monday the 29th.

On Saturday evening I booked tickets for BBWWS for Sunday the 25th on the website ticketnet.fr, or so I thought. Unfortunately I made the mistake of booking the tickets for the 5th of May. We only found out when we arrived at the check in area for the show and the staff member at the gate informed us that our tickets were for the following Sunday evening.

To say we were gutted was an understatement. Thankfully the staff member walked back to the ticket office with us and sorted us out with additional tickets, which I had to pay for again. I didn't mind paying again at the time as I didn't want to let our 4 year old down and I presumed it would not be a problem getting a refund from ticketnet.fr

I have contacted ticketnet.fr and to say they were unhelpful is an understatement. Completely dismissed me and fobbed me off. There is standard insurance added to the purchase of the ticket but as I was told, it only covers illness accident or if you are 'compelled to work that day'.

I completely understand that it was my mistake but the fact that I forked out the extra money to attend on the night I had planned in the first place should warrant a refund in my opinion. The hosts of the show are still getting there money in a way.

Anyway this leads me on to my long shot.

I was wondering if anyone is interested in buying the tickets from me for a reduced rate, maybe €75 ?

The tickets are for 2 adults and 1 child between the ages of 3 and 11 for category 2 seats for Sunday May the 5th at 18:30. They cost me €120 excluding insurance.

I know for the buyer there is a bit of risk in that the tickets are the print at home version so they are in a PDF file but I can assure you I have no bad intentions. I would simply like to get some of the money back for what I paid for the tickets. I can scan and post my ticket stubs for the Sunday show just gone to show that I am legitimate.

I would be happy to come to some arrangement if someone wants to pay half now and half after the show as it would leave the risk as 50:50.

Thanks for reading,
Dave

Hello.  Can anybody advise if there are any AP offers on at the present time for dining at Buffalo Bill's.  We went in December and because it was the Birthday month of one of the pass holders there was a further discount.  We are going on Saturday 25 for one week.  Unfortunately, it is nobody's Birthday this time but I wondered if there may be some other offers there (or anywhere else)?

We have booked the show but I'm considering upgrading to 1st category. Im not worried about the cost as we'll only ever go the once so I guess the nearer the better. However the thought of all the dust being kicked up, my thinking is the nearer you are the worst it will be.  Does anyone have any experiences you could share regarding this.

We went two weeks ago and did 1st Category, we where second row. You dont get to pick once your in, well we didnt. A cast member take you to your seat, but get there early as possible. I wasent worried about spending the extra money either and always upgrade if we can but its really not worth it. Its hard to explain, but in parts I wish we had been cat 2 as the charactors spent most of there time doing the presenting bits from that end. Plus when they use the oppersit end exit, you would see more in cat 2. The food was the same in both, no better service. I waited over an hour for a drink and the lady next to me waited ages for cutlery. But otherwise it was a good night, just hard to concentrate on food and show plus a child at the same time. Yet for our 5 yr old daughter, it was better than the princess meal. She is still talking about it now and desperate to do it again. Even the toy story toys have come back out!  :D As for the dust, really dont worry at all. Not even the front row had problems. It was only when the buffallos came out and maybe when they where doing the horse team races (which was my fav bit) I was worried about the dust but its fine. No matter where you are in the seating, the cast members keep you involved at all times. Have a great time  :)

we were in catagory 2 and front row. Its not like 1st at the front and 2nd at the back, but the 'face on' seats are 1st and side ones 2nd. But tbh the price difference I seriously don't think its worth it as you can see everything from everywhere anyway. As for the dust its really not a problem. :) My daughter has asthma and she has no problems what so ever. :)

Just a quick question to those been in cat 1, the complementary non alcoholic cocktail is not a deal clincher?

No it was basically orange juice, which I couldnt even drink as allergic to citrus fruit. There was no extra sweet treats either as advertised just before we went.

I wouldn't say Cat 1 was worth what you pay. We were Cat 2 in May this year and had a brilliant view and were treated no differently. A row of Cat 1 was sat in front of us- they had easier access when getting out during the performance and a glass of juice and that was it. We all got unlimited drinks during the performance.

There is a seating plan on the DLRP official website but I cant get one small enough to put on here I'm afraid. I watched a few you tube videos and was worried about being down the far end, where the charactors enter which is why we did cat 1. Yet it really wouldnt have mattered at all. We are planning on going an extra night next year,  just to squeeze the show in again.   ;)

The show is fantastic for both adults, and children, my hubby loves it, and is largely in English, so there's no difficulty understanding it.  On our lat visit, they upgraded us from 2nd to 1st category on arrival, and even gave us a free seat and meal for my 2 year old son (which would have cost 40 Euros to book)  We were very pleased!  Staff couldn't have been more accommodating.  I left my bag in the little shop, (with my purse and all our spending money in).  After realizing and having a minor heart attack 10 minuites later we returned, to find they had took it to one of the stores in the village, and we got it back!  Relieved is an understatement.  Couldn't have been happier with the night

I would say a 2-3 year would enjoy the show but maybe not appreciate it as much as a slightly older child. Same as most things I guess! As long as she doesn't spook easily or is upset by loud sounds and crowds of people it will be an enjoyable experience for the family.

Has anyone bought and used the discounted tickets from ticknet.fr on Christmas Eve or New Years Eve?

The normal ticket prices are massively hiked for those days, so I'm wary to buy the discount tickets to find that I won't be able to use them.

Loved this show on our visit, back in 2009 so some time ago.

Was great with the addition of the characters.

Remember doing the Buffalo Bill Show in Florida, my god that was poor, nothing like the grand scale that this show is on.

Defo on the to-do list for our hopeful visit in October.

hey

I am planning to go to DLP for my birthday this November. I was wondering if it is still possible to get the free buffalo bill show ticket in the month of your birthday. I have a fantasy pass.

I can't find any information about it on the Disney land paris website (the france and dutch one). But I remember using the offer on my boyfriends birthday 2 years ago.

Sorry for my English

thanks

Loved this show, saw it last year and doing it again this year.  Great participation and the kids loved it.

We used our spare meal voucher for character meal at Café Mickey. Saved a lot of money doing it that way.

When we visited in February we purchased a cheaper ticket for the show via the French site for DLP, Does anyone know if there is still a way to get the cheaper rate? I can't remember where I found them before. Thanks x

The interaction with the crowd by the performers is quite something at the Buffalo Bill show, when I was there last September the hall was mostly empty (21:30 show, not the busier earlier show), with only the first 2 rows of each ranch occupied, and we got a lot of attention as a result ^_^

We did this last Tuesday for the second time and they had made the improvement of allocated row seating. If you get the card showing your row number. Hang back from the stairs, we where at the front as we where there early and got completly crushed. My 7 year old had her head hit really hard too. We still got front row so all the crazy people ramming us didnt achieve anything. Hope they keep the seating like this as we wont do it again after that.

Can anyone tell me what the alternatives are food wise?

My mum won't eat meat on the bone and she shouldn't eat gluten but she will if she has to.

The meat option was on the bone for both adults and children in October. The vegi option was a starter of Vegi Chilli, Main was pasta, pot of tomato and potatos, desert was there amazing apple crumble and ice cream which was same as previous year.
