I don't know if anyone's come across this website before? Since my visit to the resort last summer i've been looking endlessly for the soundtrack for Mad Hatter's Tea Cups that i fell in love. And i found it today! Nearly a year later :D
So i thought i'd share the love of Disneyland Paris soundtracks by showing you all this URL:
http://www.soundofmagic.com/menu.htm (http://www.soundofmagic.com/menu.htm%22%20onclick=%22window.open(this.href);return%20false;)
Click on Sounds of the Magic then Disneyland Paris!
Its amazing, and has nearly every area loop etc that i can think of! and lots of them are the original files (ie, not recorded by holding a microphone up to the speaker)
Have fun everyone :D
(ps this is NOT spam)
That's a terrific find and something I've been looking for so thank you. Couldn't believe how comprehensive it is, someone has put a lot of work into that site.

Very true, It hasnt been updated for a long time (hence still Disney MGM studios, etc) but its got SMM2 etc on there. I only found one clip that specifically says EURO disneyland, but i suppose its because the creator couldn't find a good copy of the post 1994 version!
Was there anything on there you particularly had a goosebump moment of finding like me? :D
Yeah! All of it! :D Great find :D
I think the Frontierland sounds really took me back there, but also the sections on park posters is brilliant, seeing (and hearing) all those little details that you emerse in when you are there is fantastic and I could explore it for hours. Thanks Monty
For more information on the current loops at DLRP check out Eyores blog over at magicmusic.net. The loops were recorded by myself and there's more to come in September. I hope you find them of some use

Enjoy!
It is a great site , it has been around for a few years as I have downloaded lots of music from it .I also love the section with the posters in it
what a fab site makes me wish i was there now...great to download for the car to play on way to airport
Sorry for the small bump but thank you so much for posting this. What a fantastic website, all the DLP music takes me back, so much it's like I'm standing there 8)
Now though I have a question, is it odd of me that I was dancing around my house when listening to the Main Street music? :? (really I was, with my laptop under my arm playing the music! )
If you like Main Street music and you like iTunes, you're in luck. Search for the artist "Rick Benjamin & The Paragon Ragtime Orchestra" and you'll find a few rare albums that they play on Main Street, U.S.A. You can buy all the tracks individually for 79p each:
On The Boardwalk
http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/on-the ... id48683637 (http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/on-the-boardwalk/id48683637%22%20onclick=%22window.open(this.href);return%20false;)
The Whistler And His Dog
http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/the-wh ... id48599571 (http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/the-whistler-and-his-dog/id48599571%22%20onclick=%22window.open(this.href);return%20false;)
Thanks for the links Alan, I might download a few of them tracks. Much appreciated :)
Check out their website: http://www.paragonragtime.com/ (http://www.paragonragtime.com/%22%20onclick=%22window.open(this.href);return%20false;)
I bought The Whistler and his Dog cd last year. They have a great service and my cd came with a personalised thank you card. :-)
If you buy the albums on CD directly from ParagonRagtime.com they cost $15 each (£10.07). Buy them from iTunes and they cost £7.99, a saving of £2. Of course, iTunes downloads don't come with a thank you card, but you can buy and listen to them today, rather than waiting for them to be delivered. Plus, legal downloads are much better for the environment.
I'll go with the thank you card in this case. :-)
Thanks for the link to the site Kristof, I'll definitely consider it if I ever get around to buying. The personalised thank you card is a nice little touch too :)
Ok. I don't actually understand why anyone would want to buy a CD anymore; what are the advantages? But if you're still into 30-year-old formats, then so be it :-)
Here's something cool I found. A video on YouTube of the Paragon Ragtime Orchestra performing live, in a park somewhere:

It is sometimes nice to have a physical product. Also, whilst we may be in modern times, some areas haven't moved on yet - such as in car audio systems. The minority have ipod/MP3 docks/wires or FM transmitters (which aren't that great for quality anyway). Can't beat a good old CD!
this website is awsome =] but i cant find the one bit of music from main street that seems to be played alll of the time, i couldnt even try to type it in doo do doooo's (lol i bet that makes no sense to anyone) but i might be able to find a video of main street with it in, if i find it will someone please at least give me a name any help would be much appreciated.....

They have it in the "15 Ans de Magie en Musique" CD, and probably others... It's called "Ring the bells", it's one of my favourite pieces of music in the park!!

As far as Christmas Songs in Main Street go, I've been looking for them for years, but finally found a pretty comprehensive list as to the songs played there! For me, the music is such a huge part of the parks, and it's lovely to have found the music to hype me up before a trip!
The Philadelphia Orchestra - O Come, Little Children
The Canadian Brass - The First Noel
The Philadelphia Brass Ensemble - Deck The Halls With Boughs Of Holly
The Philadelphia Brass Ensemble - Bring A Torch, Jeannette, Isabella
The Philadelphia Brass Ensemble - Angels We Have Heard On High
The Philadelphia Brass Ensemble - O Come, All Ye Faithful
The Philadelphia Brass Ensemble - It Came Upon A Midnight Clear
The Philadelphia Brass Ensemble - Waissail Song
Westminster Concert Bell Choir - We Three Kings
The Boston Pops Orchestra - The Nutcracker Suite
The Boston Pops Orchestra - Sleigh Ride
I'm also pretty sure that 'Overture' from Muppets Christmas Carol is used, as well as a version of 'Carol Of The Bells'!
:)[/color]
i love carol of the bells its such a lovely piece of music =]
All the Christmas music is on the "Sounds of Magic" site , but unfortunately offline at the moment , I have all these tracks downloaded and it is the best way to get in the Christmas spirit !!!
The christmas Music when it snows on Main Street is "Lumina" and then "Ring the Bells" Both available on the limited edition 15 and de Magic en Musique. They are put together. I often play it when it snows ;)

Hey Swipes, the song is called "Believe in Holiday Magic", from the Christmas fireworks show at Disneyland, California. :)

When you click on the "sound of magic" link on the left hand side it says that the website is "back on-line soon" - been the same message every time I've checked this week. :(
It seems that the website is currently down, anybody knows if the page is dead?
Hi,
In addition to this website, If anyone is looking for the instrumental music played in the parks at Christmas time, you will find these on the cd: A Festival of carols in brass, by the Philadelphia brass Ensemble.
It allegedly is also used in a majority of US shopping malls during seasons greetings!!!
Thanks,
Nathan

Once logged in there's a "Torrents" link at the top of the page, that should take you to them!
Oh wow! Thanks!
