Another trip, another news report!

Disneyland Park

Château window

We got the beautiful coloured window a few weeks back, but sadly there's another side to this.  The changing Dove/Rose window is entirely blacked out.  Hopefully this will/can be fixed soon.

Mad Hatter's Refurb

The refurb at Mad Hatter's Tea Cups is continuing.  A custom construction sign is up on the fences.

This Ice Cream cart was added to the Plaza Gardens outdoor seating.

Buzz Lightyear's Pizza Planet

We decided to try out the new all-you-can-eat buffet at Pizza Buffet.  A cash register is located at the beginning of the buffet (the other ones are gone) where you pay.  The CM asked if we wanted coffee or tea (this was a supplement), drinks are included.  The shelves for the trays was empty, which made it a bit more difficult to get food to the table.  There were paper plates and large soup cups (though there was no soup).  The salad bar was limited, but the essential things for me were there.  The pasta buffet had 3 kinds of pasta and 3 different kind of sauces to go with.  There was a large bowl with grated cheese, "powdered" Parmesan cheese and small bags of Chili sauce as well.  The pizza buffet had 3 types of pizza.  The dessert buffet had fruit salad, chocolate pudding and some pie and cakes.  The delicious tiramisu they used to have here was sadly missing.

There were 2 soda fountains, but only one was working causing a long queue.  A modification had been made so filling bottles isn't possible.

All in all I enjoyed it.  The pasta could have been warmer, but the pizza was hot (a first for me).  For almost 15 euro's each, this sure is a winner for DLP.

Like the pictures, particularly those of the ice cream stations. In the Main Street Ice Cream, what kind of ice cream was there?

Another great informative instalment Kristof..  =D>

I was wondering about the window in the Castle. Is it lit from behind, it looks as though it is, but when you mentioned that the original specialised glass with the dove/rose on it has been blacked out, does that mean there's a gap between the new pane and the original pane, in order to provide illumination, it seems obvious that there can't be any illumination on the original dove/rose pane from the front with the new pane being in front of it, which could also explain why it's blacked out, unless it's been covered by a black out film.. :-k

I think I'll like the new 'All You Can Eat Buffet' at Pizza Planet..    :)  Yum Yum..  :D/  :D/

It's not the food people dislike, it's the decor.

Anyway, it does look better than Plaza Gardens, food-wise. If only you could have the buffet and the price of Pizza Planet with the decor of Plaza Gardens.
