As usual I am not sure where I should post this :oops:
On my last trip I saw what looked like ID badges on lanyards being shown to CM. What were they? They were white with the lanyard being red and one group of people waved them at the CMs when we came in on BTM and they got to stay on and ride again :mrgreen:
Also what do VIP fast passes look like?
They probably took part in a special event, press trip or convention. :-)

They also might have been competition winners - I won a weekend there last year and was given a lanyard that I had to show to gain access to certain winner's events, etc. I felt pretty special until I got there and saw about two hundred other people wearing them!

In october 2008 me and my theatre group went for the European Festival of Dance and Performing Arts (EFDPA, that big tent in the disney village) and we had lanyards then, but they were only to allow us access to the event, nothing special in the park. went we went last October again, we didnt have lanyard passes.. so maybe they had to get rid of them because of other passes being more frequently used in the park?

No, no. :) These lanyards are very common for all the events I've listed above.
