The hotel looks really great. Hopefully Disney will build such a resort in Europe, too. There are many beautiful places.

Yeah imagine if Disney brought a small Greek Mediterranean island or something, somewhere hot anyway. The concept arts of swimming pool area in Hawaii got me thinking of Lava Lagoon again...

The D23 website has posted a fantastic article about a tour Imagineer Joe Rohde gave to a group of Visitors on the upcoming Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa. This hotel looks incredible and I give full credit to the setting and surrounding area too. I hope the place is a suscess since I wouldn't mind seeing other Disney Resort and Spa's, pop up in some other exotic locations in the upcoming years.

It just makes me sad to think while Disney are out in Hawai building a fantastic new Resort Hotel. At the same time Imagineers in Europe are opening up Toy Story themed Carnival Rides.  :(

I have just thought the same. I'm looking through both WDI books and and I'm reading about those great attractions created in the last 50 years.

Hopefully the rumours about the new hotel near Barcelona are true. The Hawaii resort looks great and I enjoyed the article on the D23 website.
By the way, I have just finished the great article about EPCOT in the new magazine.

I had no idea there was a Disney Resort in Hawaii, it looks amazing from the photos on their website.  The rooms and villas look absolutely stunning, and the prices seem fair.  Looks like I found a great spot for our 10 year anniversary, now all I have to do is talk my hubby out of Vegas :)

Three months until the opening of the disney Aulani Resort.

I think the hotel is very beautiful, although it looks a bit big.

It looks lovely, will be nice to travel there one day. Perhaps even 8 days in Orlando, follwed by 4 relaxing chill out days here.
