Title: Disneyland Railroad
Post by: Anthony on December 07, 2009, 07:53:12 PM
News.
QuoteTaking advantage of the refurbishment penned in for the "grand circle tour" from 16th to 26th November, the resort's maintenance team finally got the chance to correct a bit of history still in place at Frontierland Depot.

Spotted by Mouetto on Disney Central Plaza, the water tower at the station was fully refurbished — its "Euro Disneyland Railroad" lettering repainted in the process as simply "Disneyland Railroad".

I think that is a bit of a shame !! :( Liked the fact it was a bit of history to the beginning of the park , and didn't really make a huge impact on anything !

I agree, I love spotting old remains of "Euro Disneyland" days, I hope they don't get rid of any more :(

There used to be an old Victorian-style map of the park in the Town Hall (Information Desk) which said EuroDisneyland.  Is this still the case?

My mind boggles at what they actually choose to spend time and money on!

Well, actually they didn't. They had to repaint it anyway as part of its scheduled refurbishment, so they (rather obviously) decided to leave the "Euro" bit away.

Quick question about the railroad, can you stay on the train and go all round the park or do you have to get off at each station and re que to get back on? Cheers
