Since Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast has now welcomed a lot of guests and opens very very soon, I thought it was about time we got one of these topics, for those lucky people who've been on it already.
So post your best scores from the new attraction right here!
Photographic evidence of scores would be a good idea, although I understand you might not manage to get this every time. Just dont say "899,999" without proof! lol
 Note: Discussion about the attraction itself should go here (//http://www.photosmagiques.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=257).

106.000 points
Hi everyone!
I'm back after a fantastic short stint at dlrp.
Buzz is brilliant. It is already in my top 3 rides in the park.
Top score after aboout 28 attempts was only 456,455 :?
Quote from: "Poppy The Monkey"only 456,455 :?
That actually seems like a pretty good score to me, from seeing lots of others.
I quite like that even the obsessive fans of the resort aren't getting the top scores yet. They've obviously designed the attraction well enough that you have to really train yourself up to reach the top.
It's also about hitting the right target.
Right before I left Planet Z, I turned my space cruiser around and hit a target that looked a bit out of place, but suddenly a little green men jumped out of a box holding another Z, which gave me a huge boost in my points! It's really lots of fun to find those.
Oh I hope they've fixed the Alien in the Box by now. (Poppy the Monkey, have you seen that effect working during the days you were there?)
Yes, the alien in the box worked on the cast preview day and on a Wednesday night soft opening a couple of weeks ago.
But by Tuesday last week it was stuck open.
Another temperamental effect was the flying pterodactyl style bird. This kept on sticking as it tried to spin around, making an awful clicking noise. This happened on all but 2 of the times I rode it.
I suppose my top score wasn't too bad in the broader scale. But a friend of mine from the EPC dept, who often plays Belle managed to get the top score 999,999 on her first visit to the attraction while I was sitting in the same ride vehicle and managed less than 200,000. It's a fix!!
Actually just changing the subject , I spend the whole of an evening in the park with the fabulous "Belle", and it just so amazing to see the difference a costume makes even for face characters. During the morning the guests were pushing and shoving for hours just to see her, but loose the wig and she is just one of the crowd being pushed and shoved in the queuelines.
A little funny story here, while we were in the queue for Big Thunder Mountain, one little girl in front kept staring at "Belle" who was wearing a hat because it was absoloutly freezing, the girl kept staring for about 20 minutes, she kept wispering at her mother who was English and kept saying "don't be so stupid - be quiet" Just before we were about to get on the train the girl turned around and said "I know your really Belle in disgise so you can go on the rides without Gaston following you, but can I have another autograph because I lost my book from yesterday".
It was priceless, she said it so fast and her mother was looking shocked in the background.
The happy ending was that she get her booked signed, and her theory about the disguise to "hide from Gaston" was fantastically eloborated on by "Belle" to make sure we preserved the magic for the little girl.
Anyway top scores......

Priceless! Stories like these really make me miss working for the Mouse...
(Btw, is she one of Belle's French assistants? Had the pleasure of meeting a very charming and beautiful French girl a couple of years back... You couldn't think of a more perfect "friend" for Belle than her...)
:P Cute story... though why anyone would want to hide from Gaston is beyond me...
:D Can't wait to try the Buzz ride when we visit in October!
Well have to say I'm impressed with the attraction, how its layed out and how fun the spinning and warp speed idea is cool. Though the targets can sometimes be really annoying to hit, especially with some so high up. Only saw the toy in the box working yesterday and also it wasnt fully working only just sat up not moving up and down like I suspect it should.
My current highest score is a rubbish 89,000  , I think I need more practice.
Something 144.000 past saturday.
Well, Buzz wasn't working very well this afternoon at all. :( In the time I was in the loading area I saw 5 Space Cruisers whose unload mechanism (where the front tips forward) wasn't working go past - with each one they stopped the ride and quickly tried to desperately fix it. The 2 space cruisers behind me were covered over with black cloth.
And whilst I was on the ride, it stopped FIVE times! I thought I was going to miss my train home! lol I managed to get a nice score of 200,000+ something though... 8)
They need to sort out the fastpass queue - it snakes out from the attraction right across the entrance to the land. I guess having the entrance to Le Vis so far away in the corner made sense after all...
I like the ride though - good fun, if a little bit too 2D for my liking. The main Buzz and Zurg animatronics are worth queueing for though.
Queues were about 50mins on Saturday but then up to about 60mins the rest of the weekend, and they didn't really get any shorter than that. Fastpasses were gone by 2pm, and with those problems today the wait time went up to 90mins! Which is a pretty good thing really. :D
Quick thank you to Patrick for those fastpasses, wouldn't have got on it again twice this morning without them.
1 May 2006: 189.200 without stops
Well done! I'm still amazed just how hard it is to get a higher score on Laser Blast - I'm sure some Americans must either lie about their score or visit DLR/WDW far too often!
How many times have you been on the attraction now, Kristof? Is it still fun after quite a few goes?
Oh yeah, it's still lots of fun! I think I've done it about 10-15 times!
Good good! It always seems the case that once a new attraction has finally opened, people don't talk about it so much, so I was just checking in that it's still going ok!
I hope it's a big hit this Summer - let's hope no-one passes out in the uncovered outside queue! :?
i got 155,600 on wednesday
I was there in April and experienced the ride 4 or 5 times but only managed a high score of 77, 890. Great fun though!
Yay, finally broke my own record this weekend: 251.300 8)
New record: 259.000 something. :D
Thanks to a few stops: 591.900
I'm the only one posting here
Well, I reached the maximum score yesterday!!! 8)
Hmm looks photoshopped :P , if you really did get that well done think it will take much practice to get that much   .
So... uhm... how many times did the ride stop? 999,999 times? :P
Looks like the attraction broke down the computer reset to me. Not that I don't trust you or anything.
Trust me, this is for real! We stopped once at the final scene, but already had over 700.000 before I got there.
I wanted to buy the photo souvenire as prove, but appearently, we had a "broken" vehicle, since both our scores were like 20.000 and 15.000 (happened quite a few times before and even the day after).
I only can say it's true. Raptor did manage to get the maximum score. I ended at 995.000 thanks to him ;-). Just before the final scene I had (on my own, without his help) 764.000 points.
I only got 40,000 poor me, what can you expect for your first ride?
Congrats, I only had 21000 the first time ;-)
I thought that was bad?
you all sound like you've done good. i cant wait to have a go, but i aint going till next year for 6 days!!! i also cant wait to stick my gran on the ride :pluto:
really it isnt that good, dont look forward to it too much or you will be disapointed as it is mostly cardboard cut outs with targets stuck to them. The shooting is fun though
Really well for some people that is enough and after all that is the whole idea behind the attraction. Also theres some great animatronics in it and the shooting is great fun hence the whole idea of the attraction. Have fun blasting to save the toy universe  .
I had lots of fun blasting the baddies and got 314,600 which isn't bad for a first attempt. The targets might not all be high-tech but this doesn't take away from the excitement,it was a good move to open a ride where the visitors can be active. =D>
I got on Laser Blast quite a bit more this trip. The first few days it had 80minute waits, but then the last two days it was just 5min or even 2min all day!
Top score was 515,400 which made me very happy. What I loved though was that with each ride my score increased. I don't know how they designed it so you get a bit better each time, but it's very cool. I've maybe done it 15-20 times now, so with about 15 more I should theoretically be getting 999,999
I have to admit - Laser Blast is the best thing they've ever added to the park. Far better than Indy, HISTA and Space Mountain... it might not be a more artistic or expensive attraction, but in terms of satisfaction it's going to stay top for years. :)
it does not satisfy me  , I can never get over 79,800, suppose I need to ride it more then, but 79, 800 is mny latest highest score, I'm just rubbish, maybe I should not have spent the last section bored shooting my sister in her head she was annoying me  .
Updated the first topic with a list of all the top scores.
Oooo good idea! (Mainly because I managed to come third :P)
On my last visit I got about 630,000. I loved it when the ride suddenly stopped for five minutes
I havnt been on the pairs one yet, so hoping to get on the DLRP magic scoreboard when i return with my score . :)
I dont know how anyone can slate buzz lightyears lazerblast,it is a very cool ride! when we were at dlrp at christmas we went on it everyday, purely for my daughters benifit obviousley lol,and loved it every time.with my parents there too there were three generations of our family on it,and it was hard to know who enjoyed it more,my three year old or my dad who's 57.toy story is the favorite film in our house so getting a chance to blast zurg was great, and my daughter even managed to beat me once!!!my daughter has already decided thay when we go in may we are going to ride lazerblast every day at least once,so hopefully my score will go up from my present pb of 108000.i dont think thats too bad considering i was taking pictures at the same time and helping my daughter. excuses, excuses!!!
222.000 or something.
I've got photo proof, i bought the photo @ Disney, very "intens" pic that is :P
we bought our photos too,but they arent always accurate.my dads photo said hed scored 210,000!! lol,he didnt have his glasses on and could barely see the aliens let alone the targets! he actually scored 53,000,so make sure you check your score before you get out of the cart. :D
Oh me and my husband we just love the ride. It's so cool and it makes so much fun. On our first ride my husband shooted with two guns, because he was alone in the buggie. He made a score of 50,000 and 70,000.
On our second ride he scored 153,000 and I scored 19,500.
my top score is 613.700
dont know if im posting on the right board but is this ride for like 2 people so if 3 of you went you'd have to go in a 2 and a 1?
Quote from: "fly_with_me_dumbo"dont know if im posting on the right board but is this ride for like 2 people so if 3 of you went you'd have to go in a 2 and a 1?
Buzz is an excellent ride, we done it 4 times over on our first trip at Christmas!! You sit in moving space car and have 2 individual laser guns to fire at all the aliens, so it's better to have just 2 people in 1 space car and 1 in another!!
I enjoyed firing at my hubby the most and forgot about the scoring!!!
This ride is an absolute must!!
124000 or so i dont have any pics to back this up tho :(
My score is..... Does this also inculde the one in Magic Kingdom?
If it does then:
1. 11453,000
2. 10234,000
3. 2323,000
Well I went on the ride tons of times but I'm only going to tell my top 3.

Florida doesn't count, otherwise this topic would have been in International Parks & Resorts.
my highes was 400220 or so.. :)
 My highest is 97100. But then, that's MUCH better than the scores I was getting during my last visit. :P
My highest score on the ride is 169800 :)
Well how come I haven't found this until now?
This is my favoriteist ride in the park... Wendybird and I did it hundreds of times in our short stay, yet all our photos we were in the exact same pose with just a differing and higher (or in wendybirds case LOWER) score (well my pose in particular was stuck in the same postition... It must be the Gamer in me that came out to play)...
My Score after my first weekend training for Star Command saw me acclimate a high score of 158,700... not a great score compared with others but better than wendybirds 19,800!
Now off to find to play Links Crossbow Training on the Wii in preparation to demolish my Score when I return in the Autumn
My highest score was 299500
I was very proud of it until my dear husband did 557800 - he even took a picture to make sure I wouldn't forget it
But I'll beat him when we go back in August....
in all the times matthew and i have been on there i think the best score for me was 311,200 and matthew was just under with 309,700 however these we not both at the same time i will try and find the proof pics, mind you i have no idea how i got this score matthew says that there are loads of secret scores, must be!!!
My best score was 662500. :D/
Unfortunately I have no proof
We stopped a few seconds directly in front of zurg. And his Z give a lot of Points.
While I shot zurg, my partner shot to the other side. And when he turned he said:
How did you do that?????!!!!!!
:P
Aloha,
it was May 9th this year - my birthday. We went to Buzz in the morning and were kinda lucky that the car stopped for about a few seconds just in front of the first Zurg and I was able to hit the hidden target on his chest several times which gave me a nice cushion for the rest of the ride. I ended up with 999.999 points. Well, I did not buy the picture since you could only spot me on that trying to make a photograph of the score ;) I could add the picture of the score later as proof.
This was a very special birthday present for me ... I have to admit that I never really liked Buzz but it got better and better every time we found all those little details and hidden targets. And it's actually much more fun in Paris as in the US parks because of the free movable laser canons.
Cheers,
Flounder
EDIT: Here's the picture ...
whoa Flounder, that's a VERY impressive score!!
it seems that everytime it stops for me I'm in the worst possible places! Normally at the end where (and someone PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong) there's only the one target in the toy box...
I got 143'000 and everytime my dad goes on he gets like 500'000 (five hundred thousand) - He's excellent at it!!!
By The Way - does anybody else know where the one million point target is???
