How I loooove your collection! I would like to have as many WDCC as you have. But I only have 3 of those "titles", those little filmrolls with the title on it. But when I go back to DLRP again, possibly next year, I'm sure I will buy a "real" one for myself. Hope they will have Pocahontas then...

Jack rocks!!!  I have him on my bag I take with me to university. One could say I'm a NBC freak... I love Tim Burton...

WDCC in DLP is more expensive then in the stores who sell WDCC though.

LOL!

I've actually never heard of WDCC before, but then I'm not a big collector of general Disney merchandise.  They look really cool though, I love the one with the Genie and the Magic Carpet playing chess...  :D

Actually maybe it's a English Disney fan thing, but I've also never heard of the thing, though it looks cool, I can see a new set of collections on my bookcase starting since all I collect at the moment is the nice £60 snowglobes  .

I'd never pay £60 for a snowglobe! I just think of all the Disney CDs and DVDs I could get for that! lol  How many are in your collection now?  :o

They sell quite a lot of 'm at Harrington's in Main Street, Animation Gallery at WDS and Disney Gallery in the Village.  You can't really miss 'm.

:o I've heard of WDCC before...I went to an anime convention recently and there was a stall selling a bunch of these gorgeous Disney statues... the Cheshire Cat one was £62 so I couldn't afford it...

:P My cousin only payed about £30 for a large Jessica Rabbit Snowglobe that was in the Sale on the Disney Shopping website... :) it sits next to my large Alice in Wonderland snowglobe...

I think there are not many stores in Germany which sell WDCC. I only know one, which is in Hamburg, but I'm living in the south of Germany. Paris is nearer from my hometown than Hamburg...  :)  I find sometimes WDCC at ebay, but I would't like them "second-hand", no one knows if it gets broken in the package.

Hi

I also collect the WDCC, but I only have one piece: the 240€ Brother Bear Figurine "Brotherly Time"... But I really want to extend my collection and since there isn't any authorized shops in Denmark I looked in Germany and I too found the shop in Hamburg... It delivers, the only thing you shall do is to mail them your order... http://www.cels-galerie.de (http://www.cels-galerie.de)

I hope this helps... By the way awesome collection Skellington!

Title: WDCC pieces galore
Post by: imfung on January 12, 2007, 04:44:42 AM
Hi, Folks,

I am new to this forum.  I had been an avid WWDC collector when it first started in 1992.  I have entire mint sets of the first year productions with the wheel mark:  Cinderella, Bambi, and Fantasia Sorcerer's Apprentice.
I also the Limited Editions with these sets: The Cinderella Dress, the Bambi and Flower, and the Fieldmouse. They were all bought at the time of issue, had to be on the waiting list for them with the dealerships.

The title pieces for Cinderella and Fantasia Sorcerer's Apprentice are the rare editions that were shipped out by mistake with the first shipment.  There showed the Technicolor logo which was copyrighted by Warner's Bro.  The logo was removed on subsequent shipments.

With the Sorcerer's Apprentice set, I have both the plain brooms as well as the rare brooms with water spots.  The water spot productions were shipped out before the designers decided they liked it better without the water spots.  There are not too many spotted brooms out there.

Besides the sets, I also have many loose pieces.

I have just retired, and need to down size both financially and physically, that's why I am selling these treasures.

I realize most of you are located in Europe, so there will be shipping involved.  However, the way these pieces are packed, and I pack them in thick foam boxes for shipping, these will arrive safely.

If you are interested in seeing photos of the sets or pieces, or have questions, please e-mail me at imfung@comcast.net.(//%3C!--%20s:D%20--%3E:D%3C!--%20s:D%20--%3E)
