I've seen in the DLP website that there's going to be a "Castle Club" like club in the New York Hotel. But so far in their website it's no more than a mention in the small print of the -40% special offer for June...
Does anyone know anything about it? What kind of service will it have?
It's strange that they're not advertising it more, no?
Yes it's true. In fact, there used to be a Castle Club in Hotel New York for a few years.
So the Empire State Club will use an entire floor of the hotel with view over Lake Disney. It will have a dedicated reception (where the Oad desk was located) and there will be additional services for guests staying here. I'll check with my insiders why this isn't mentioned on the website yet.
So all the rooms with have a lake view? Cool :D
shame there's no park view from there...
Quoteshame there's no park view from there...
You can ask for car park view...

Is this available now as I am about to book the Hotel New York??
Thanks.
It should be, it was starting in June
But when we called a while ago to book for August they told us that there were no VIP fastpasses in the Empire State Club - it's not like in the suites or the castle club. All you get is a dedicated reception, a private lounge, and little more. We were a bit dissapointed by that :(
Instead we're now booked for the DLH
matthew would kill me if i booked the DLH im glad weve never had a free upgrade to it! lol so is it really going to be the new yorks version of the admirals floor?
Sounds like it, yes!

Yes, it does say VIP Fastpass up there!

They told us they didn't when we called to book!
Oh well, good news... I'm a big fan of the VIP fastpass... Will have to try it out then :D !
Thanks for the news Baloo!

Well the new official brochure seems to say it's only for the Suites, not the regular Empire State Club rooms, but our magicforum blue bird has told us it changed just in the past couple of weeks, so the list above should be correct.
Should be correct??
It's reallly annoying DLRP update their website so slowly.... I don't know what we'd do without sites like dlrpmagic!
IS correct.
And on my head be it.
Hi,
Are there any prices / quote details available online for the Empire State Club as
the official site gives you no details and as usual requests you call them directly :(
I love the hotel New York and would like to give this a go next year.
Thanks,
Mr_B

Just give them a call, 08448 008 898 (calls cost 5p per min from BT landline, other networks may vary) they are always sooooo helpful! dates are only available until 2nd? April though
Good luck :D
If you get some prices Mr_B, I'd be interested in them too.... I'd like to know how the prices compare to the castle club in the DLH!
Anyone can call the regular reservation line from their country for a price quote, not just the UK. Just look on the official DLRP website for the phone number. :)
Hi,
Thanks everybody. I'll give them a call direct over the weekend and report back here next week with what I find :)

I'm staying 5 nights at HNY in August (family of four). I just got a quote and it would cost an extra £600 for that period of time.
As well as confirming everything above it also inlcudes free soft drinks all day, afternoon tea between 4-6pm, bottled water in the room, slippers and dressing gowns and daily linen change.
Just a shame that we can't afford it!!!!!!!!!!!
A few photos from the Empire State Club reception and the dedicated lounge.

Very nice! All of HNY is stylish, but most of it is a little dated. This is not!
What did these areas look like before?
It was a simple meeting room.
i like the mickey touches!!!
Thanks for the pics raptor!!
Thanks for the pictures Raptor - I really want to book that now....

No question about it. I have never had a good stay at the NBC, even on the admirial's floor. I have had my best stays at DLP at the HNY (even better than the couple of times at the DLH). So to me, the ESC wins.
it was an extra £300 for us to stay in December ,they dont give any discounts with ti so no free nights etc ,sadly a bit over our budget
