Hi,
I just wanted to say that, for anyone that hasn't seen it, I have the Holiday Showdown: Disneyland Paris vs Paris episode available as a high quality iTunes/iPod/iPhone/Apple TV compatible file. It's 47 minutes long and 564MB in size. Let me know if you want to see it, or not :-)

Alan
Would love to, been wanting to see this for a while!
yes please
Hello, I would also like to see this if possible please!!
Same here :D Would be fantastic to see it.
Well....show us the money!!!! :D/
The file is coming. It's not easy uploading something over 500MB in size! I'll post here when there's a working link available.
Well, here's the link, but it doesn't seem to be downloadable. Nice one:

Yeah, so, I have the file, but I can't find anyway of sharing it with you guys, because it's apparently TOO BIG. Ironic isn't it. Just when you have the technology to get a perfect digital recording of a TV show, you're unable to share it due to the file size!
why you don´t try it at http://www.mousebits.com (http://www.mousebits.com), there
u can post ur video in every size!!
 that's a pity, thanks for trying Alan.
An option you could try is using split .rar archives.
Using a program called Winrar, you can create a .rar archive (similar to a .zip) and set split file size limits (say 100 MB). You will then have 5 x 100 MB .rar archives (parts 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5).
When someone has downloaded the files, they open part 1. Winrar then prompts you to point it to part 2, which asks you to point it to part 3 and so on. The file can then be extracted.
It's relatively simple to do. Just specify the file you want to archive, set an archive size limit (100 MB), and the program does the rest. It's then just a matter of uploading the five 100 MB archives.
I will host it on my ftp server if you want, that way people who are interested can request a temporary account and download it.
Alan, PM me and I can send you very simple instructions to upload it direct to me.
How's this?

Did not work for me in forum but the link did.
Thank you
Loved the "in front of Tinkerbell Castle!"
Thanks for uploading this!
It doesn't work in the forum since the video is set to disable external embedding ;)
Right, well I intentionally set it not to be embedded, which explains why it wouldn't play here within the forum.
If any of you have an iPhone, iPod Touch or Apple TV, you will be able to enjoy the video in higher resolution than you see on the YouTube website.
Nice video, just did anyone else notice the terrible editing in places, like when they said 30 minute queue for It's a Small World they showed Dumbo queue. Also Fantillusion Parade interestingly turned into the Main Street Electrical Parade it seemed  .
would you wanna live with tessa
her son is deliriously happy, her hubby trying not to be and still she moans :P
she enjoyed it really but was trying to prove a point
does tinkerbell know she has a castle? :P
None of them work on my iPod touch :(
It says currently not available on iPod?
Ah, that's because YouTube obviously haven't converted them yet to work with the iPod Touch. That's not something I can control, it's something that YouTube do automatically (eventually). Give it a few days and the videos should show up in YouTube searches on the iPod Touch & iPhone.
:o I saw this episode when it was on TV.
:? The Paris mum really got on my nerves.
she was quite determained not to enjoy herself wasn't she :!:
 Some people are just awkward.
Was wondering has the video been made available any were else, as you tube saying video is unavailable.
Many thanks
Sean
CLicking the link or video is saying "video removed by user"?
I realy wanna see this! :(
Please can you put this up on something else. in another way?
Or via email?
I don't want to give too much information away, but if you do your research you'll find that both Tessa and Marcel are on Facebook. Tessa even has a YouTube channel.
I wonder if their opinions of Disneyland Paris have changed after all this time?
For those of you that missed it before, I've uploaded the file one last time to FileDropper.com This is the complete show. Download it while it's still available:
http://www.filedropper.com/disneylandparisvsparis (http://www.filedropper.com/disneylandparisvsparis%22%20onclick=%22window.open(this.href);return%20false;)
So, did anyone download it? What did you think of the full show?
hey Alan ,yeah i downloaded it this evening thank you for making it available! I only watched the 7 minute clip on youtube before and I did'nt realise the "toffs" holiday was in Paris!! I really enjoyed it thought but marcel and tessa were quite rude I thought they just dismissed Disney before they even got there!
Marcel and Tessa appear quite rude. But a lot of people are like that. They think they're above Disneyland, that Disneyland is all fake and plasticky, and not cultural enough.
What they don't seem to understand is that Disneyland isn't supposed to be real; it's a fantasy. Everyone knows that the castle isn't an actual castle, and that the characters are just people in costumes. If they thought of it more as going to the cinema, or going to the theatre, they might find it easier to accept and stop analysing. When you go to the cinema, for a few hours you pretend that different Worlds exist and that the people on screen aren't acting. It's the same thing with Disneyland.
Disneyland is supposed to be an entertaining experience, not one that makes you think too hard, or question things in life. A day at Disneyland is a day of being entertained. It's like being at the cinema for a whole day. The only difference is, you're a participant rather than just an observer. Rather than watching a movie experience, you have your own movie experience; something that you'll remember forever.

Can't agree more!
Alan you are spot on!
This episode was replayed on itv2 over the weekend :)
Thanks guys :-)
And yes, it was shown on ITV2 again this past weekend. Well spotted. I uploaded the file again so that everyone got a chance to see it, not just those from the UK.
Hi , we are the family that went with Tessa and Marcel to disney, Tess and Marcel are wonderful people who have different views from us, we had great fun off camera and stayed in touch for several years after the show. Disney is not their ideal holiday but nor is cemetaries and numerous galleries in paris ours but that was the idea of the show, their son got to have an experience that he wouldn't have had otherwise and the same applied to us. Please remember that what you see is edited from 10 days of 14 hour days of filming edited to make TV of one hour and isn't a true reflection of the holiday. Glad you enjoyed it , not sure what Tess and Marcel think of disney now, we've been back to Paris since and had a great time but Disney still holds the magic for us.
Tracey, right? Welcome to the forum. It's cool to have one of the people from the TV show actually here with us to discuss it.
Personally, I love both Paris and Disneyland Paris. They're two totally different holidays, but they're both great. I recently went to Paris and basically used this Holiday Showdown episode as the blueprint for my itinerary. So thanks :-)
Great to hear this Tracey :) Welcome to the forum. When I read this it reminded me of my mate who was in this season of Master Chef on BBC1. She was really worried because she thought the programme would show her in tears the whole time cos her lads were little and she'd never left them before. She said before it aired "All you're gonna see is me covered in snot! And when she had to work in the restuarant she had to give two soundbites. One saying
"I never want to work under this pressure again" and the other
"The best experience ever!"
When it aired they showed her teary at one tiny point, the rest of the time she was smiles and they aired the second sound bite! Her rebuttle? "The wonders of the editing!"
So we only get to see half the story.
Whoa, all these years going to Disneyland and I never knew it was Tinkerbell's Castle...

You're joking, right? It's Sleeping Beauty's Castle (in English) and Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant (in French).

The voiceover on the program called it "Tinkerbell's Castle". Would it really have been that hard for the ITV production team to do some research?!
