We captured contruction fences on Front Lot during our last stay. Little did we know that an additional turnstile was being added, as confirmed by La Roquine on DCP!

Cool :) Looks like WDS are preparing for the increase of crowds when ToT comes :D
How many turnstiles are there right now ?

Not enough.
I'm curious: Is there "only" Christmas decoration at WDS during the Christmas Season? Or are there also other seasonal events/shows or something? :)
Nala, I think we should open a WDS Christmas topic since most people are wondering the same thing, although there won't be too much to post in. :(
Great news for the Studios, they must have very high hopes for the future of the Studios.... and so they should
I was wondering, are they going to extend the current archway that covers the turnstiles or build a new one? :-k
waa hey! great news now hopefullythis will reduce the line sightly
Lets just hope they actually put staff on them all :D
Well it's open:

Hope they make a new floor in front of it too!
Sorry to revive this old topic, but another new turnstile is being added! This time, on the other side near the AP office.

I did notice this and im not suprised.
The amount of people in the studios these days in unbelievable. Nothing like pre TOT, Crush Days.
Whenever i was in the studios during my trip it was very busy and i think i went during low season. Huge queues for most of the rides. Restaurants packed. Massive crowds for SnC.
I hope this is the start of a great future for the studios ! :)
But like Riebi mentioned above. They really need to sort the floor out infront of the studios, its like a mine field.
Aaaaan I mention it again! Maybe this time they will hear me! The floor is really bad in this areas. The have redo it soon. It´s one of the big pirate ships at the resort area.
For the turnstile: That again great to hear. Also that there are so much people during "low" season* is a great thing. Only more visitors can create a better future (and everyone of it a worse floor  )
* Owain at DLRP means low season? Maybe there was just that much visitors because of you! ;)

I think they will wait until next year, because due to the cold weather I can imagine that the tiles will break. But the floor was already in a very bad condition in February and so it is really a shame that it wasn't fixed during summer.
It's really good that Disney adds more turnstiles, even in February the crowds were huge in front of WDS.
During summer the floor around the ticket counters was that bad, that it was really dangerous to walk over it. I was really appalled about the condition of the floor. I only can hope that they fix all the rest of the floor between Disney Village, Disneyland and WDS. I can´t understand that they stopped the half way.
But mor turnstiles means more people and that means that they hopefully will have an eye on the floor at this area.
Good to see they're evening it up finally!lol
Though I do agree that it is a disgrace how bad the floor is outside the Studios...
Off topic: Since there is atalk about the bad condition of the floor outside the parks I wonder who is responsible for the maintenance. I'm talking not only about the floor in DV, around Lake Disney and around the Train Station, but also about the streets that lead to the hotels, to the train station where the Disney Hotel Busses stop and to Val D'Europe.
I can imagine that Disney is responsible for the floors and streets around DV, Lake Disney and the hotels and that the city of Marne La Vallee is responsible for the rest.
Some more pics...
