I also collect the Walt Disney Treasures. Here in Holland only the first four got released. After i bought the first two i heard/read buena vista was only planning to release two more and then they would stop with the release here Holland. So i started buying the american versions as i wanted to have more than just those four. I prefer the American tin boxes over the Dutch tin boxes anyway.
So these three dvd's posted above are on pre-order for several months now already!

Can't wait for these to arrive somewhere in December/January. Especially the Disneyland one i'm really looking forward to!

Hi Dlrpfan

Yes I'm the proud owner of Donald Vol:1 of the Walt Disney Treasures Collection.  It's a shame I cannot lay my hands on Vol:2, on the other note, I had heard they were releasing Vol:3 in December this year.  I know you can get Vol:2, but it's Region 1.

I would not mind as my DVD player is multi regional.  Still would rather wait region 2 if possible though.

Volume three is a must as it contains one of my favourites 'Donald Applecore'

I don't think any more Walt Disney Treasures will ever be released outside of the US. :(

Best thing is to just bite the bullet, get a multiregion DVD player and import them (Amazon marketplace or somewhere).

I've got about 14 of them now, all brilliant and well worth the money.

Mmm, looks like I'm going to have to get them imported as you say Baloo.  :|

My DVD Player is Multi Regional, well the livingroom one is anyway, it's just it would have been easier if I could have had it in region 2, soley for the bedroom and Jen's room.

Might have to buy another Multi Regional for at least the upstairs, just so I've got the whole house covered, no matter where the DVD is played.

Thanks for the info anyway Baloo...Much appreciated  :D  :D

Does anybody know if the Walt Disney Treasures about disneyland will be released in Germany/Austria, too?? Or is it already released? I didn't find it on Amazon.at.

My next question is a little bit off topic:
Is it possible to watch a US or a UK DVD on a German/Autrian TV? I think it is not possible to watch a US DVD, because of the NTSC and PAL codecs, but I'm not sure about UK.

Thanks for your help!!! :D

UK uses the PAL system. The region coding may be a problem. In the UK we are Region 2.

And it was actually released, too! Just got it a few weeks ago:

It's incredibly hard to find from its original Region 1 release, so this is very welcome. It even has the usual booklet inside. C'mon Disney International, what's stopping you releasing a few more like this?

"Amazon.co.uk Sales Rank: 31,481 in DVD" that, I suppose.
