:o I keep all mine in a gorgeous WDW pin trading book.

:) I bought it off eBay and it holds 120+ pins.

Each page is divided into 20 squares, and there's 6 pages. The pages are made out of a similiar material to the velvety cards all pins come on, but it's more sturdy. And each page has a plastic divider over it, to protect the front of each pin.

:P Although it's meant to hold 120 because of the divided squares, there's no harm in just putting more than 1 pin in each square, so they all fit. :D I love this book, and I keep it in the 15th Anniversary box I recently bought from DLRP. Also in the box are my lanyards, my pin cards from when I've bought new pins, and other random pin things like spare pin backs.

Got some on my laptop bag, some on a pin board, and some in a WDW pin bag I got off Ebay. I was intending to get one of the pin bags they have at DLRP in September for 30 euro's, which are much larger, and have large pages inside to display your pins.

Walk in through my front door and to the left are pictures of my kids in DLRP  with their lanyards hanging off them, then three picture frames with their special pins they do not want to trade. My lanyard with my gold and silver plated and pewter pins is hanging in the middle.

Nobody can miss we're Disney mad in our house!

I just keep all my pins in a nice DLRP pin bag. Its great, keeps them safe aswell as easy to access and display. I dont put pins where they can get damaged lets say ... not that mine are worth anything though i just dont.

Masamune, are those Pin Trading books also available at DLRP?

And Disneyana, could you please post or send me a picture of how your pin-frames look like? I'm very curious cos at the moment I store them like MinnieMouse, on a lanyard, but I think they're worth more than that

a spectacle display box is a flat case approx 25cm by 80cm with compartments big enough to hold a pair of glasses.

i bought some oasis (the stuff florists use to hold the stems of dried flower arrangements) and cut it to size, the pins look great and are safe from my 2 childrens wandering fingers

I suspect the box set is limited to only 400 editions - not that it contains 400 pins!

Does anyone who's been to DLRP recently know if they still sell the large pin books like this one (//http://cgi.ebay.com/DISNEY-NEW-LARGE-MICKEY-PIN-TRADING-LOGO-BAG-PINS_W0QQitemZ280149725107QQihZ018QQcategoryZ38011QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) anywhere, and if so in which shop(s)? I was last there in October last year and couldn't see any. My pins currently live in a holder like this (//http://cgi.ebay.com/Disneyland-Large-Mickey-2007-Disney-Pin-Trading-Bag-NEW_W0QQitemZ110166313549QQihZ001QQcategoryZ143QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) (only mine is a WDW 2005 one), but the collection is starting to outgrow it!

Thanks,
Mad -x-

QuoteI bought a pin trading bag from dlrp last year, It is great, has pockets to keep all my spare backs etc.

Yeah I got one for my daughter August 2006, they are really neat, plenty of extra pockets for odds and ends as you say.  82 pins in total up to now, (all my daughters, though it does contain my prized Donald Duck ones).

There is plenty of space in these pin trading bags. Not sure how many they could hold on average. Quite a lot, put it that way.

 :D

i too genurallly just buy pins relevent to the stay rather then
"oooooooh lets thake this stitch one, this minnie one and ooh what about this mickey one?"
i genurally like collecting either the limited pins out at the time of visit or if theres a new attraction/show/ parade etc i would normally go for a pin relevent to the new opening

I now store my pins in an A4 folder which I made fleece pages for, which my collection is already outgrowing. I have 77 pins, 2 of which are limited editions. I try to collect any stitch ones I like, some mickey and I also like to have about 1 of each character I like or ones from rides i've ridden or parks I've visited.

I guess its not so much a collection but a souvenier that grows after every visit. Its a great talking point with visitors to the house and an easy way to say "Tell you what lets get the video out and show you for real"

They look fantastic, puts my little cork board to shame. Where did you get the background posters? Did you buy them in DLRP or scan them from somewhere? :?:

My pins are currently kept on my lanyard but I am going to make a holder for them, if it goes to plan!

i turned my hallway into a bit of a disney shrine and my pins are all on pin boards going up my stairs. i then have film cels with pins framed on the other wall and my favourite limited edition pin pictures hang in my living room.
thank god for a tolerant husband.
