This will be the official topic for the Halloween Season 2007 at Disneyland Park.
And the first news is also very good news! Despite previous reports (which had been confirmed) will the Disney Villains Parade make a return once again! It will run once a day, likely in the late morning or at noon, so the OUADP will keep its regular performance at 4pm.
oooo wonder if it will be pretty much the same as last year? havent half the floats been destroyed???? how will that work?!
Which float do you mean? Mary Poppins? That wasn't used anyway?
That's great news :)
So does that mean that the christmas parade will return aswell?
That should be posted in the Christmas topic, right?
Was it only the MP float that was destroyed then? I was under the impression that only a couple were being kept - Cinderella being one of them. Hmm - this is good news though!!!
cool :) im hoping to go at halloween (if i can get the money) or the year after
Brilliant. Even more to see when we're there. :D
I'm wondering is 6 days enough to see it all?
Has anyone got photos from previous parades please? I'd love to show my littlun what to expect when we go. I've found a few on Photo Magique and the cavalcade on Patmagic, but would be v grateful if anyone has anymore. Thanks :D

Mary Poppins has been remodled for High School Musical, Snow White & Cinderilla might be decorated for the Disney's Villian Parade.
Tubbsy did you see the videos of the parade in our Video Vault?

And here are all the photos from last year's season. (33 Photos from the Parade):

Thanks Raptor! :D Useless arent I? I did go on Photo Magiques, but didnt find those photos and the videos are just brilliant.
Ask and you will receive :D
Thats the first time I've seen that parade! It looks wonderful! And very creepy .. ..
But the song that is playing is just dreadful! I was really dissapointed in it, especially after 'Dancin' and 'Dreamed It'.
That's funny... It's Halloween -Lo -Ween is considered by most fans as one of Vasile Sirli's best songs (and my personal favourite) and it has been used at Walt Disney World for a coule of years on a row during the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. But of course, everyone is allowed to have his/her own opinion. :)

i absolutely love the song! although some of the mixes of it on the cd are just wrong wrong wrong!!!
I really liked it from the first few seconds the first time I heard it!
Agreed the halloween lo ween song is one of my favourites, it's a great track and when you're in the park and it's blaring out of the speakers and the dancers are perfectly intime with everything it's a great magical experience.
I agree aswell, the song is such a great Haloween mood setter
anyone have any idea what time the parks will be open till and what parades will be on , will there be any fireworks at all we are giong on the 7-10 october , last time we went in jan and there wasn't hardly anting on no fireworks or anything

This question belongs in the trip planning board.
halloween time is from ... to ... ?
have a look at the DLRP magic for the dates
http://www.dlrpmagic.com/guides/seasons/ (http://www.dlrpmagic.com/guides/seasons/)
oh, right, thank you.
so, if it's from 6th October to 4th November.. when i can find phantom manor and frontierland closed? 'cause i remeber that the last year it was closed for one o two weeks preparing for halloween's show.
disney have not given out the dates yet for rides being closed, as usual disney is at lighting speed again :P
Quote from: "maruychan"oh, right, thank you.

Frontierland, PM closed, erm this has never happened, when did they close and what halloween show?
mmh. last year, before halloween time. mmh. i'm not sure, i'll ask my friend, i remember he's very afraid.
halloween show=halloween time, my mistake sorry.
Oh do you mean big thunder mountain, that was just closed for refurbishment, not the whole of frontierland even if it seemed like it probably.
Will the 15th anniversary parade still be running during halloween? Sorry if thats been asked before :?
QuoteWill the 15th anniversary parade still be running during halloween? Sorry if thats been asked before Confused
Page one, topic one
Saw that about 2 seconds after I posted that message - Taxi!!
  No problem.
Oh, this hasn't been mentioned before, but it's quite obvious already... The giant Pumpkin on Central Plaza will not return this year. The make-up artists will wonder around the area to paint the children's faces on the spot (like it was done during Kids Carnival).
Good news for the Villains fans, there's going to be a Villains show in front of the castle several times during the day. If the rumours are true, it will be hosted by Cruella De Ville herself!
Yes! :D :D :D
That sounds like good news
So is the parade still happening? If so are they going to be the old or new floats?
I haven't heard about it for some time... But I've seen the Beauty and the Beast float parked backstage when we were on our way to the Resort. Maybe preparing it?
Oh it will be the old floats of course...
Good! Yes I have to look for floats backstage next time! Anyway should be good seeing the old floats back!
Maybe the'll move the pumpkin down to the town square rather that central plaza. Will they have fireworks at halloween ? as they didnt have them when i went to dlrp for xmas last year :(

A daily fireworks display is only during the Summer Season.
The giant pumpkin will not make its return this year, as I already posted in one of the first topics.
A press release was released today. The Villains' show on the Candleabration stage will be called "Disney Villains' Halloween Showtime"...
QuoteA SPOOKTACULAR HALLOWEEN FOR DISNEYLAND PARIS' 15TH BIRTHDAY
From 6th October to 4th November 2007, a spooktacular Halloween season comes to Disneyland Resort Paris, offering laughs and mischief for all the family
With the help of Classic Disney Villains, Frontierland in the Disneyland Park transforms into Halloweenland. Cruella de Vil and Captain Hook will take over the park, creating a spooky setting for Halloween mischief and mayhem. There will be tricks and treats galore with the spooky season's special guests, the high energy Pumpkin Men and Pink Witches, who are sure to entertain kids of all ages at the daily Disney Villains' Halloween Showtime.
There are regular daily shows on the Halloween stage in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle. Goofy and the Magic Pot is an exhilarating, energetic show where children can learn to make pumpkin soup and dance alongside Goofy himself! Minnie and the Bat Boys will also be appearing on stage daily, with live music and a host of other Disney characters singing classic Disney Villain's songs.
Kids can join in the fun as favourite Disney monster Stitch, from the 'Lilo and Stitch' Disney animation film, wreaks havoc across the park and takes over the 15th Anniversary 'Disney's Once Upon a Dream Parade'.
Disneyland Resort Paris also becomes even more interactive during Halloween season. Guests will have the chance to meet dozens of Disney characters, witches, stilt walkers and other street artists. Children aged between 3 and 11 can enjoy free face painting and 'hair-raising' antics with Disney's crazy coiffeurs. Several times a day the Mexican game of Piñata, in Halloweenland, is a test of strength and luck as kids try to break into the colourful paper mâché objects, stuffed with all kinds of sweets, biscuits and candy.

More:
Quote from: "DLRP Today"So to recap, the new Disney Villains show on the Candleabration stage will be called Disney Villains' Halloween Showtime, whilst the FantaStitch Stage in Halloweenland (Frontierland) will welcome back Goofy and the Magic Pot from last year along with the Bat Boys - this year led by Minnie rather than Donald. And as for the parade - it appears a minor Disney Villain Parade-style takeover may happen to the fresh-faced Disney's Once Upon a Dream Parade, likely the pre-parade mentioned in the past.
However, the French press release goes on to give even more information and confirm that a Halloween pre-parade, led by Stitch, will precede Disney's Once Upon a Dream Parade - "A cortege 100% Halloween led by Stitch", "Guests won't believe their eyes! Surprises guaranteed!".
The Disney Villains' Halloween Showtime appears to be a spectacle of rivalry between the Pumpkinmen and Pink Witches, hosted by the Disney Villains, to determine which camp of Halloween mischief should be declared winner of the season. Guests will clap, dance and tap their feet to the music and songs, before laughing (for the Pumpkinmen) or screeching (for the Pink Witches) to determine the winner.
The decorations and atmosphere of Halloweenland will return as normal to Frontierland. And the "Orange County" makeover of Main Street USA? Those Pumpkinmen won't give way for anything, not even the 15th Anniversary! They'll be back, and apparently giving the 15th Anniversary decorations their own personal, orange, touch...

Those Pumpkinmen had better be careful with the 15th decorations or they'll have more than the Pink Witches to answer to!
Quote from: "Baloo"Those Pumpkinmen had better be careful with the 15th decorations or they'll have more than the Pink Witches to answer to!
Whahahahhaha :P Baloo in action!!
I wonder if the Dreams of power float will be in the halloween edition of the Once upon a dream parade if it's confirmed for the season though.
Im going for halloween & cant wait for the villians show. Does anyone know if jack skelly walks around the park?
ive been there for 2 halloweens and never seen him! :( i wish i had though that would have been great!!
I wish i was going in halloween, i love it then! :(:( If only i could afford to go halloween too!
No, he doesnt.
I did her some rumours about an Ursula meet 'n' greet somewhere in the park. Don't know yet how they will pull that off or if it's even true...
The old WWODP floats are currently being re-dressed for the Halloween parade. No word yet if this will just be a pre-parade or a whole parade on its own.
I'm looking forward to it... whatever it will be, it'll be something new and nice, I'm sure... like last year
an Ursula meet'n greet... well the imagination of entertainment dpt never dies, does it, I'm very curious to see that one
and of course, the floats of the WWODP, I'd love to see them again, as a pre, as a full parade or as whatever... everything would be good!
hahh really wanting to go :)
Hello, this is my 1st post so sorry if this is in the wrong area. On the 31st of October I understand there is a Halloween Party. Will there be fireworks?
Thanks

I think the candleabration has fireworks!!!

Yes there is always fireworks at midnight at this night, for this event though you have to buy a seperate ticket into the disneyland park.
Thanks for the info. I am now looking at arriving on the 4th November for 4 days to see the last of the Halloween bits and the Fireworks on the 5th.
Do you know if there are ride closures etc on the 4th when they take the Halloween decorations down?
Thanks
Aaron
my family are going for the haloween party night does anybody know if there is a parade on and if you leave the park can you get back in ? :?
When I went for the halloween party last year, me and my girlfriend had park hoppers like normal and we were able to exit out the park for a meal at rainforest cafe before getting back to ride phantom manor late (can't remember what time, but it must have been around 10/10:30) and watch the fireworks.
I think the normal ticket rules apply. And, as far as I know if you have a package booked you don't have to buy a seperate ticket, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you do, I can't recall doing so.
Hope this helps,

I have never heard of the no need for extra ticket rule, all I ever hear from Disney this year seems to be they won't give you a ticket for the soiree unless you have booked a package with them argh.

Well, lets hope thats not the case and theres a way to get hold of tickets. I really want to get to see this years halloween celebrations, would be awesome to go to the soiree too.
I'm a bit confused about this Halloween Party.
Is it just in a certain area of the Park? How can you get tickets for it and can you buy them in advance? :?
You should be able to buy 'm at front. It seems that the tickets won't be released this year before September when ordering them through the reservation line.
All areas of the park are open, but not all attractions, but most of 'm are! The main festivities are located in Frontierland and Adventureland. There's also a parade and fireworks to close the night.
Hello, sorry to ask again but does anyone know if there are certain rides/areas closed down to take away the Halloween decorations on the the 4th November?
Thanks
Aaron
No there should be no ride closures...
I heard there will be no additional Villains Parade, instead 2 floats in front of the Once upon a Dream Parade.
First reaction was "BOO!" But then I thought about everything else thats going on during the celebrations for the 15th and Halloween, they probably cant fit it all in!
Disney Villain Showtime on the Candleabration stage. This may sound naive, btu will candleabration still be on? Hoping so.
Disney Villain show time is a small show during the day. Candleabration will just go on as usual.
I wonder what the two extra floats will be for the OUADP. Hmm, should be interesting. I'm glad that Candlebration will still be on, I enjoyed that show in July.

Would one of teh floats be completely stithc related or is he just leading the riot?
Good news: standalone Soiree tickets are now available!
I had an email today with a link to the Halloween mini site:

It looks really good. Nice downloads and professional finish!
wow, that looks nice, good to see the 15th logo on there too..
I just got the email from DLRP with a link to their Halloween festival page... how exciting!
We are going for the last day of the Halloween festival - we had booked to be there for the bonfire spectacular and we lucked out by catching the last day of halloween!
Has anyone been to the halloween festival before - I'd especially like to know things that happened last year, as (correct me if I'm wrong) but didn't Stich play trick or treat, like he is doing this year!
Thanks
Amy
Did anyone hear the rumor, that the big pumkin from central plaza will be moved to the Critter Corral area?
Hmmm - just a rumor? Or can anyone confirm this?
Thomas
:jack:
It is true that it is not returning to Central Plaza, but I have not heard of it being placed somewhere else.

Questions like this are better in Trip Planning (//http://www.photosmagiques.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=13). This topic is for discussion of news/rumours/updates for Halloween events.
But to answer quickly anyway - it's fairly quiet until about the final 2 weeks, when the school holidays start and the park suddenly becomes hugely packed. Halloween is almost as popular as Summer and Christmas during that time now.
I've got a leaflet about the Halloween event yesterday.
Quote from: "TowMater"I've got a leaflet about the Halloween event yesterday.

I get all the mail things! :D
You know, since getting our APs I've had no mail at all from DLRP - should I have received one of these Halloween leaflets do you think?
Same here! I don't get any mail from disney anymore either. I read on another forum that there has been an invitation for shareholders and annual passholders for the preview of ratatouille... I never received anything (and i'm a shareholder).
oh sorry..i think i'm off topic now..
I got my AP invite to the Toon Studio preview (late May 07) in mid-June. I couldn't go anyway, but still...
I see they've changed the style of the official website to Halloween already. It might be a naff website for a Disney resort, but at least they're keeping it up to date. :)
I love how they've changed the 15th posters for Halloween :)

Same old, same old. I really hope the next Halloween festival after the end of the 15th chucks out this circa-2003 tat and replaces it with something more like Disney's HalloweenTime at DLR. I used to get annoyed in years gone by about everyone bashing DLRP's Halloween, it was great fun and very original when they started all this, but now, 4 years later... pfffff.
I love the Pumpkinmen and even the Pink Witches, but the complete disorder they have with the decorations is awful for a park with such high status as DLP. It's like they let a primary school class design props and then randomly dropped them off all over the park. There's no overall design or thought the way there is with Belle's Christmas Village, the Christmas decorations of Main Street, etc.
They need to take a step back and just refine the whole season, don't you think? The park has become like those awful houses you see covered in Christmas lights, the whole thing is out of control and with so little thought or love.

Dear god -- Is this a joke, or have they seriously put back up a sign which clearly says '2006' ??!
Have you seen the Halloween Parade in Hong Kong Disneyland? It sure looks fantastic
//http://disneyandmore.blogspot.com/
What I dont get, is how if the Hong Kong park is performing so poorly, they can afford this? They also have built a walk through haunted house. Addmittedly they dont have the haunted mansion/Phantom Mannor, but either way, being strapped for cash in Hong Kong, must be a little different to being strapped for cash in Paris!
Nice parade, thanks for the link! The chernabog float and fire dancers look eerily familiar though... :P
But yeah -- Hong Kong. I guess they don't have €2bn+ of debt to start with! I don't think HK are particularly strapped for cash though, are they? They're just not spending it on any new attractions (aside from IASW) for some reason. The parade looks amazing -- this kind of "spooky but fun" and very Disney theme is exactly what DLRP should use, not the "home-made from any old crap we found lying around" which the current decorations feel like.
Pumpkinmen and Witches... sure!! But they should always be live characters, the decorations should be... exactly that, decorations! No more horrible mannequin figures or pink witches statues stereotyping the nations of europe!! Use pumpkins, banners, cobwebs, autumn leaves, scarecrows for decorations, not plastic figures which look like they're from a cheap funfair.
I'm not annoyed DLRP has the same old decorations and style this year, I didn't expect any different, but hopefully once they lose the lifeline of the 15th they'll stand back and take a real look at what on earth they're trying to achieve with this season.
I hope that once the 15th birthday is over, they start to 'remake' their seasons! They will not build a new attraction for 4 years (right?) so they can spend some money on their halloween season and maybe the christmas season also?
thanks for the link too Baloo! i have to say DLR have outdone themselves. In the past many people felt none US parks made more of an effort for halloween, not this year! It evokes a very Americana feel, perfect for Disney. I know DLRP is european, and maybe thats why characters were created, to give a european twist on what is seen as an American holiday, but after seeing their decorations, makes me think they have it spot on, traditional, Americana, with Disney heritage and characters.
In my ideal world we would get DLR style in Disneyland Park, and a Jack Skellington and NBC character theme in the studios! I can dream
Quote from: "Owain"(//http://joel.at.dlp.online.fr/dlp/20070925/DSC03208.JPG)
they arent gonna leave that like that are they?? :?
Well for anyone who thought DLRP had made a mistake, no doubt you would be correct, after all a week or so later with a bit of pumpkin orange paint and part of the sign has been covered  .

That is REALLY disappointing!

Dont build up your hopes over the Villains showtime either.
The music is all recycled, the opening and finale song "Are you ready for Halloween" is from Tokyo.
The rest of the show uses the worst cutting and mixing I've ever heard for a Disney Show. And all the playback is taken from things like Disney's Cinema Parade for Cruella, and Fantillusion for Jafar.
The costumes and dancing is good but don't build up your hopes too much!

Baloo, you're absolutely right! The decorations look very cheap and crappy. Why do they use flashy orange? Why not a more natural, genuine looking orange colour?
The only time I visited during the Halloween-season, was in 1998. There were not much decorations and they were a lot simpler, but at least it looked authentic (and NOT like a kindergarten!).
And why do they theme the season around Stitch? What has he to do with Halloween?? He's an alien, NOT a ghost, goblin or bad guy! Apparently they've already forgotten Disney's ultimate Halloween-movie: The Nightmare before Christmas.
It's about time DLRP starts looking at Hong Kong and Anaheim for a lesson in Halloween-theming.

Thanks for the info! To be honest, anything that doesn't use Tokyo's "Happy Happy Happy Halloween" song is fantastic in my view, so we'll see.
Hahahaha, Happy Happy Happy Halloween, please God I hope it is not featured at all during the Halloween Soiree again  , but sounds like this show could be interesting. I have noticed a lack of advertising for Halloween over here in the UK, perhaps Disney themselves are trying to not get people's hopes up too much as well.
Quote from: "PATMAGIC"Quote from: "Baloo"Quote from: "Poppy The Monkey"The music is all recycled, the opening and finale song "Are you ready for Halloween" is from Tokyo.

You's will be disappointed folks, because it is the theme song of the new Halloween Pre-Parade, mixed terribly with "Boo To You" from last years pink witches pre-parade.
OK can someone just sack whoever chooses the tokyo music for disneyland paris  . I would be happy with just boo to you now there's a classic halloween tune, oh wait that's sirli ok never mind  .
There are loads of images of the decorations at the link below:

I don't want to be constantly negative, so I have to say the decorations at Le Coffre du Capitaine and Cottonwood Creek Ranch are very nice as usual, it's a shame they aren't this complimentary to their surroundings elsewhere...
Poppy, I think you just decided for me whether I'll visit during this Halloween... :P
Wow, quite a few images there.
I think it looks ok, can't wait to see everything once I'm there though, I'll probably be more excited then :p
I was a bit disappointed to see the old stuff with the 2006 painted out, but we havent been for 15 months and we're not going just for the Halloween season. I t just happens to be the next available time we can affor d to go and its adding something to the holiday. So I'm gonna stop being disappointed n enjoy my holiday.
Its a shame for all those that make DLRP their Halloween hot spot tho'. It must look ugly after all the money spent on the park this year.
and today Halloween begins at the park.
I wonder if it looks nicer in person? I sure hope so.
You know what, I think we are all being a bit harsh here!! It doesnt look that bad. Infact certain areasa look fantastic. I think its because it jarrs with the sophistication of the 15th myself.

we go Monday and i cant wait, we chose Halloween as went at Christmas last time and wanted to see what this tim of year was like, and TBH i cant wait.
I dont expect a huge classy halloween display..to me tacky and cheap is Halloween...LOL
i don't know really, i suppose we are comparing with the 15th stuff.
Nothing is as good anymore.
Scrooge on DMI has taken some images and videos of the villains show time:

that looks quite good actually.
Cinderella's carriage has been taken over by the pink witches:

Well.. it's nice to see a bit longer pre-parade than expected! Only the pink horses don't look so 'halloweenish'! Make them evil
Just finished uploading our photos from yesterday. They include the opening parade, the Disney Villains' Halloween Showtime and the decorations.

:( Aww, that show has Gaston in it! *So jealous*
If you want to benefit from the 50% discount on Halloween party tickets - do you HAVE to buy them in advance or can you just buy them there?
:?:
I do not know fully, but I doubt there will be any halloween soiree tickets left on Halloween, you definitely get 50% off when you book in advance over the phone  .
Also have to say yet again DLRP slightly impresses me, I don't know why but I oddly like the pink Cinderella Carriage  . Also from photos the Villain show looks like it is a rather quick put together, yet fun show, liking the recycling of old Villain and Halloween Happening Parade costumes.
I just wanted to say thanks to the person who put the Halloween 2007 photos up on Photos Magiques. I am so excited to go as we have no pumpkin patches here, I can take all the pumpkin pictures I want at DLP! Does anyone know if the characters will all be dressed up for Halloween the whole month of October or only on Halloween night (which we can't go since hubby can't get time off from work :x ) I am really hoping it won't be as crowded as all the other times we have visited. It would be nice to catch DLP just once when it is not horribly crowded.
^^ @disneyfanatic: Halloween events continue all month, with many of the characters dressed up -- what you see in the Photos Magiques photos will be there till November.
The pink Cinderella coach... ouch. I say "ouch" because, though it pains me to say it, this idea which would have been really bad on paper actually looks rather good, in a weird way.
Could anyone give a brief run-through of what happens at the Disney Villain's Halloween Showtime?
Baloo: I'm uploading a video of the full show to the web as we speak. I'll post it here the minute it's online.
Here are the videos:
» The Halloween Opening Parade (//http://www.dailymotion.com/photosmagiques/video/x35sa3_the-halloween-opening-parade_travel)
» The Disney Villains' Halloween Showtime (//http://video.google.nl/videoplay?docid=-1131282699402300625) (at Google Video)
Thanks for the videos Raptor, I've watched the first one (which is great) and I'm loading the second one now
hmm dont think much to the music to either of them!!!
Thanks Raptor
Are you ready for Halloween... won't be able to get that out of my head now.
Great video Raptor, was this our first, second or third show on the Saturday?
The show is even better in real life, expecially when that Malificent from the video does the show, she is amazing! She used to be "friends" with Cruella, in the old Starring Cruella De Ville show, but is even better here!!
The music has been cleaned up slightly, but still mixes badly I think, tho you could see all the different sources the tracks are taken from as a celebration of DLRP entertainment over the past 15 years I suppose
It really is a good, basic show!
I agree Poppy the Monkey, the show is a lot of fun!
It was the last performance we taped. A lot of your colleagues were standing next to us watching the show.
I've seen the first one and it's great, I'll watch the Villian show in a moment.
Hey, the Showtime surprised me - it's actually pretty good!
I'd wondered what the actual point/story of the show would be, but as a revue of villains and their theme songs it works really, really well. I don't particularly like the Tokyo Halloween songs, if I were Vasile Sirli I'd be pretty pissed they weren't using the excellent Halloween-Halloween or It's Halloween-Lo-Ween. These ones are just generic j-pop, far too happy for Halloween.
Nice recycling of costumes, including the "Cruella boys", lol! I love Minnie's pink witches outfit too.
The pre-parade... blah. It looks ok, but I don't really like the main witch having a microphone and saying pointless things like "are you having a nice day?" (surely it should be "are you having a horrible day?"). It seems a really cheap thing for a Disneyland parade, I don't like when Father Christmas does it either.
Overall it's not bad, and it'll certainly make the pure quality of OUADP look even more dazzling.
Thanks for the preparade and villain show.
Are there any videos of the main parade around yet? :)
Quote from: "almandot"Thanks for the preparade and villain show.

I have one ;) But the main parade is just the same as usual - means it's just the "Once upon a dream Parade" with no actual changes except for the preparade that you can see here on the website.
I am just working on vids of the shows I recorded last weekend. You can cklick on the link in my sig and go to YouTube to see one of the shows I just uploaded there (Minnie and the Bat Boys). I also have a HQ version of that which I want to make available within the next days - and that one's of course not splitted ;)
Cheers,
Flounder
I adore Maleficent so can't wait to see this!
The Pink Cinderella Coach makes me shudder, Pink should be fine in Easter or Christmas, It should be painted Black & Red.
I thought the villan show was fab, so good I watched it 3 times all together on the 6th and 8th October
The pre-parade however was a let down, I was expecting more from it.

Well, we'll have got our pitch to watch OUADP so me or hubby can go n get drinks n cookies whilst this is on.
Littlun loves the look of the villain show. Does Minnie n Stitch come down and walk around in front at every performance. Littlun would love to meet Stitch.

I think i have to agree with you TowMater but i suppose it goes well with the pink Witches
Tubbsy We watched it twice from the front and one from the back... they use the castle as their entrance and the 2 times I watched it from the front they we're there.
Is the overall music to the parade different at all???
Quote from: "benjy"Is the overall music to the parade different at all???
If you're just talking about the OUADP - then the answer is no!
Cheers,

oh well thats a bit sad!  i was looking forward to some good music!
but the parade is still the best the park has ever had isn't it!!!
This is the Halloween Season topic. You can discuss DUOAD in its appropriate topic. :)
:offtopic: sorry about being off topic raptor!!
but back on topic when is the season going to end and will there be a big finale? because i don't think it ends on the 31st of october? (correct me if i'm wrong!!)
The Halloween season ends on 4th November, and no there is not really any big grand finale. The Halloween Soiree is on during Halloween itself on 31st October, which I suppose could be classed as a grand finale. But apart from that there is nothing especially special happening to mark the end.
 Thats a real shame because I personally think the halloween season is the best!!
Halloween Season is Kobold Season!
At least here's the proof:
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y193/e ... MG0211.jpg (http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y193/eenbekermet/CIMG0211.jpg)
 .
It was so weird, I saw these (3) Kobolds running in Frontierland, entertaining kids, and I saw a woman (the one laughing at the back) in shock of seeing the blue one with the glasses (not on photo). It was so funny and weird at the same time. They were so quick I couldn't take a pic of all three.
Maybe some of you saw them also :P .
I noticed an picture of Hollywood Tower Hotel at night was posted already, cause it was a nice effect, seeing it purple. If you look closely, at daytime the 'W' is still flashing. Can't wait for it to open.
Here the red lights enlighting the castle:
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y193/e ... MG0173.jpg (http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y193/eenbekermet/CIMG0173.jpg)
Sorry, bad quality.
But I think DLRP could've had much more. In Tokyo and America there's a Halloween, but then way more decorations and stuff!
An the whole park should be purple, orange and orange.
STOP THE PUMPKIN MEN! AAAAAAAARGH!

I taped them when I was in Paris some days ago - if there's an interest I can upload that part to my YouTube Account ...

I can picture the scene now:
"Mummy, can I go and meet the giant potatoes?"

Ok, i'm not going to halloween this year, but last year I fell in love with one of the songs in the pink witches opening parade, it wasn't boo to you, but it went along the lines of "happy happy happy haloween, lets all celebrate" Anyway, the song is on the opening video which raptor has provided, when the pink witches float goes past, can anyone please please please tell me what the song is!
Well nearly a week later I have uploaded a video of the Disney Villain Diabolical Fireworks display.
Disney's Diabolical Fireworks (//http://www.dailymotion.com/ResortDreams/video/x3eyvn_disney-villains-diabolical-firework_travel)
great video!! i love the halloween fireworks
Far from diabolical! Massive improvement on last year. The lights behind the castle were put to good use there particularly.
Only thing I don't like is the end - dodgy "DJ Party" music and "let's do it!!". Do what? :?
^^ i was also surprised about what they mean with the words lets do it :!: :?:
Woop, now I can watch it again and again and again :P
This is probably my favorite firework display I have ever watched, love it!

Well I cannot quite tell what let's do it meant, but it was good, and sadly the video does not show the projections of Enchanted, meet the Robinsons, yes you read that correctly  and Nightmare Before Christmas. Me thinks perhaps Buena Vista were behind parts of these fireworks.
Thanks for posting the video, it looked great
