Title: Photo Trip Report
Post by: SkySurfer on June 24, 2007, 05:45:23 PM
Hi there,

we are just back from a fantastic 15th Anniversary trip and I would like to share a few moments with you :-)

My personal highlight - The new parade:

Peter Pan sailing over London

The Tower of London

Darkness is coming over Disneyland

Is smells like nightmare

Dancing a nightmare

I loved the parade and compared to the "share a dream come true" parade, we saw at DisneyWorld last year - OUR parade is the best!

Candelabration was a very nice show. Unfortunately, you can´t see the Candles shining - But it must be fantastc by night!

We watched the High School Musical four times! Great Show!
By the way - I have never seen the Studios so crowded! They opend at 10 am. At 10.15 Crush had already a waiting time fo 75 minutes! When Studio 1 opened the gates, the CMs outside made a chain to keep the guests away from running to Toon Studio. Wow - I´m really excited who crowed it will be, when the tower opens!

Julien, the most helpful and friendly CM on the whole trip :-)

The Castle at sunset.

Time to leave :-(

It was a really fantastic trip. We stayed at the Ranch the first time and it is a very nice place to stay. Very clean and tiny. Unfortunately our barbecue was interruped by rain :-(

Our whole trip we never met an unfriendly castmember. They were all very helpful and nice.

The only thing, that made some moments really bad, was the behavior of some guests. It was my 23rd trip to DLRP - but I have NEVER seen so many unrespectful and rude guests like this time. People, who are treating the characters to get a picture. Adults, treating children to get a character-picture. Queue Jumping all the time. People, who smoke in the queues. Father, letting their kids making their toilets at the waiting area of crush (!!!), Parents, throwing their waste on Main Street during waiting of the parade,... and and and.

Nevertheless - I hope you liked my short report :-)

Thomas

I just looked at the camera, cos hubby says I can have a new one for the trip in October.

Hmmmm maybe over my budget for this time-although it looks like a very good investment. Skysurfer your photos are beautiful n my new wallpaper looks brilliant. :D

By the way, where did you stand for candleabration?

I had great luck, when I bought the camera. Really great luck. I bought it at amazon and on their page, they used the wrong price  :P
I didn´t know this at that moment. I just thought: Great offer.
I orderd it - and one hour later, the camera had the usal pice back
So at last, I saved 350 Euros!!! :-)

When we watched Candelabration, we stood directly in front of the stage, at the begining of the pavement.
If you have more qusestions, feel free to ask :-)

Sory for late reply.. But great photos, lovely pleasing bokeh in some of them, are you using the kit lense that came with the camera or have you added a longer lense now... and do you find the live view much use in this camera or just set uup from the viewfinder
