Title: Music question
Post by: Nala_84 on June 07, 2007, 10:03:25 PM
I don't know whether my question fits in here, if not, please remove :)!

I must confess that I always thought that Vasile Sirli would be the "woman" who sings the great DLRP parade songs   - until I found out through the Disney Filmparade that Vasile is the great guy who creates the music

So who are the women and why aren't they named on the CDs?? F.e. who is/are the singer(s) of Dancing (a catchy rhythm) or of All Around The World?

I hope someone knows... :)

Sue Ann Carwell and Joey Diggs on Dancin'.

That's taken from the booklet on Disney's Greatest Hits.

Music and lyrics by Jay Smith and Vasile Sirli.

All Around the World performed by Tatiana Hancheroff stands on the CD. But as far as I remember, there were more singers in the Imagination Parade's version.

Hey, thank you very much :)!

I don't understand why the names of the singers aren't that public and only stand on the CDs that often?!

And Sunny Hilden is the singer of "Once Upon A Dream" then?!

It's probably something in their contracts, so the recordings remain the property of Disney no matter what. Only guessing.

I gather copyright on music recordings is quite convoluted.

Hi Nala !

Sunny Hilden just wrote the song but it's performed by a man called Ruben Martinze and a woman with the name Renee Sandstorm. There was one internet site which gave a lot of information about the both singers. But I can't remember which it was.
