Title: Motorhome parking when you are staying in a Disneyland Paris Hotel
Post by: Addmamniw on January 12, 2019, 01:07:22 PM
Hello.

My children will be dancing as part of a group at DLP in August 19 and as part of this we will be staying at the Hotel Cheyenne at a very good group rate.

However we are looking to extend our stay in France by spending a week on the coast before heading back to the UK.

We have free access to Motorhome which we want to take to France.

I know Motorhome can park for €45 per day in the main carpark. I also know we can park at the Hotel for free for the duration of our 3 day 2 night stay.

The problem is paying the extra €135 for 3 days parking might just tip the balance towards taking the car and paying more for accommodation etc once extra ferry / fuel / toll costs are included.

Does anyone know if we get free Motorhome parking as a result staying in the Hotel or should I factor in the €135 parking fee?

I have seen regular size motorhomes in hotel car parks and as long as they are unoccupied then parking is free, dont try to use it for extra guests!. If you have an outsize motorhome you may find difficulty finding a space that is long enough as most of the hotel car parks have kerbs/hedges between the rows so you wouldnt be able to take two spaces front to back.

Other option is to park the motorhome in marne and take a bus in...although not really secure if left for several days. Rem there is no elec hook up included or available in the disney overnight car parks...there is a wash block but I havent been inside.

Thanks.

It's the size issue I have been wondering about the most.

My line of thinking was that they would give me some kind of pass for the main motorhome / coach carpark like they do the Annual pass holders.

Hi there

We went in a camper van in August but was no bigger than a large van so don't know if this helps or not...
We didn't have to pay extra to park at the hotel and once parked up didn't touch it again till home time as either walked or took the free bus to the park

Update: -

After not receiving an online response from Disney I rung them and got put through to the Hotel.
Apparently I cannot park 'something that big' (7.3m) and would have to park it in the Aires and pay the daily rate...

So it's now a question of if the €135 is worth it to park or if we just take the car and see if we can get some 'value' short stay mid week accommodation in August by the coast ......

Unfortunately I can see why. I don't see how a 7.3m vehicle would fit anywhere in the Cheyenne car park without causing an obstruction. Normally parking bays are just under 5m in length so it would really stick out and, as said, you can't take up two because of how the carpark is structured.
