Hi, we've recently bought annual passes over the phone with Disney paid in full and from egatvi understood the temporary pass would let us in and then we'd collect our permanent year pass when we arrive.
Now I'm worrying because people keep saying oh no it's activated from the date the temporary pass is sent. Which would mean we'd loose out two months of the passes can anyone clarify? If not I'll call Disney again thanks 😊
When you buy them by posting off the form you have to send a photo with it so the cards can be made up. You get the actual card and therefore it's valid from the day they create it. Since you don't do this with phone orders I suspect the temporary pass method still applies although someone who's done this might be able to confirm this is 100% the case.
If you received temporary passes via mail, you have 6 months from the day of purchase to go to DLP and have them turned into definitive passes which will last 12 months as of that day.
If you received the final, real AP's at home, then the expiry date on the Ap itself is valid.
Thankyou both for responding I have a temporary one as no photo taken ect
Your pass starts the day they print the actual ap in park
