Sorry if this has been asked before but I am planning a trip to Disneyland Paris the week before Halloween, I have never been this time of year before, are there many parades on and meet and greets? What sort of time does the park close? Are there any must do things at halloween? Any recommendations appreciated.TIA
The week leading up to Halloween is EXTREMELY busy. It's normally the busiest week of the year at DLP so do be aware of that.
It's not possible to tell you what's on at the moment as the Halloween offerings are currently a mystery. Last year things were changed, moving Halloween to Frontierland in order to leave all the 25th anniversary celebration offerings in Main Street. This year the 25th celebration ends before Halloween starts so it's likely what we get will be different.
There's normally meet and greets for villains, Jack Skellington and characters in their Halloween outfits. Last year we had two little mini-parades rather than a proper one but again that may revert back again this year. In the past there's also been a villains show to watch.
Thank you, I'm guessing that's why going the 22nd-26th is £450 more expensive than going the 29th-2nd.
The week starting 22nd October is also half term in the UK so would expect that will impact prices and increase visitor numbers
Luckily our schools half term (in the UK) is the week starting 29th so that will make it a bit cheaper to go and hopefully quietern luckily we saw this before booking.
Our half-term is 29th and managed to get HNY for a grand for 4 of us , first time staying there and probably be the last ( I don't really do marvel haha)
That's a good deal, it makes such a difference being lucky with half term dates. Hope you have a fab time
How unlucky am I. The schools near me are half the from 22nd, including my daughters!!!! :(
The Halloween theme starts on 1st October, but not sure what to expect. I hope the light show on the castle will include some new scenes.
Will be strange celebrating Halloween without PM.
We were reluctant on going this year because of all the closures. But with the Ratatouille renovation postponed we decided to go ;D
First time staying HNY. So it's nice that we can add that one to our list before it changes theme.
And it was only €100 more than Cheyenne. Strange.. ::)
Ratatouille open in October, that's great news!

Not for the whole of October unfortunately. Just the period we are going it should be open.

Just 1 hour ago I told my granddaughter that it was open when we visit at the beginning of October and now have to disappoint her again. Why is this not made clear in the refurbishment notices.
