Hiya! Whenever I have been to DLP I have done table service and this year I am planning to go to some counter service and was wondering where is the best place to eat - food wise, not atmosphere
So what I really asking is where has the best food?
Thanks!! :) :) :)
Hakuna Matata in Adventureland is probably my favourite
I haven't been in all of them yet (getting there though!) but my current faves are Fuento Del Oro and Cowboy Cookout. As a half way house been table and counter service, Lucky Nugget is excellent too if you haven't eaten there.
Top favourite cowboy cookout. Hubby loved the ribs. I live the burgers. Much better imo than the burgers at other places. Meatier.
Fuento del Oro is very tasty. Portion size can do 2 for a snack. Theming pretty good too.
Fuento del Oro and Cowboy Cookout too for me! So funny we all agree here. :)
Same for me! :D
Cowboy Cookout Barbecue & Bella Notte
Hakuna Matata! Their fries are amazing.
Does no one else love Toad Hall ?!

Nope, I can't explain how much I hate Toad Hall with the biggest passion

I can't really comment on this because it's been years since I last ate in there. It's either heaving so no seats or closed whenever I try to go.
Thank you everyone! I look forward to trying them out. The firat stop will be Bella Notte, as I am a MASSIVE fan of lady and the tramp

I do!! I admit that the food is hardly "gourmet" but it's certainly tasty and I just love the paintings on the walls.
TTFN
Toad Hall was our first ever Disney restaurant so, being one of those crazy sentimental people, it will always be special. I really miss the roast beef sandwiches they did years ago. It will be 18 years next month since our first visit and I still have salt and pepper sachets and an empty crisp bag from Caseys Corner, sad I know !
I've always wanted to venture into Toad Hall - think the outside looks great, but unfortunately nothing is vegan there so I can't eat there :(

It was okay, but to be honest we get better fish and chips at home :)
And probably half the price !!
We like Toad Hall - we normally have the plus meal vouchers and use those for our evening meal, and pay for lunch. It's been a few years since we last went to Disney but we found that Toad Hall did a meal deal of 2 pieces of fish, 1 chips, a drink and a dessert, we'd just add an extra portion of chips and that was us for lunch.
Also Hakuna Matata was delish, we ate in Cafe Hyperion a couple of times, it was sufficient, not amazing but put us on til dinner time.
Hakuna Matata did really nice Chicken Strips and Fries. I also find the counter service burgers really tasty in En Coulisse. I was disappointed not to get to Toad Hall this time around - the chicken burger/muffin looked really good.
On the other hand, the Lasagne in Colonel Hathi's was just like a cheap microwave meal. Don't know why I expected any better to be honest, probably as it's £14 a pop!
How about at the Disney Village?
Is it worth it to leave the parks to go eat at the counter service in Disney Village? Is the food better there?
Five Guys is in the village. So yes it's totally worth the venture :o
