for this weeks schedule?
I just had a look. Just the regular 5pm parade and illuminations at closing.
Is that to give performers time off after the 2 months of christmas shows plus it being a quiet time of year?
I hope not for long counting down the days to my trip 😬
It's indeed to get a week of rest before the Season of the Force starts next week.
The 25th shows don't return straight away.
Happy Anniversary comes back 27th January but Starlit Princess Waltz doesn't return until 2nd June.
There's pretty much always 1 or 2 weeks in between seasons, before the new things start.
"Mickey presents: Happy Anniversary Disneyland Paris" returns on January 27th.
"The Starlit Princess Waltz" returns on June 2nd.
This because from March 31st until May 31st, there's first the Pirates and Princesses Festival, with a different show that the princesses are a part of.
Hopefully this is a good place to ask rather than starting a new thread: does anyone know if Mickey and the Magician will be running during the week of 22 Jan?
Thanks!

I don't think so. It finished the other day and ED92 reported it wasn't back until March the 31st. I hope next year it takes its break away from February but as it's the lowest season I don't see that happening 😢

Thanks for responding - I kept seeing people mention that it was off for a while as if this was a well known fact but was struggling to find official information! I'm disappointed we won't get to see it during our trip but it is better to know in advance :) fingers crossed the Star Wars stuff makes up for it

I understand why Starlit is canceled for the festival but why not run it before the festival?
Will Mickey presents get a later schedule since it's the only show running? Would be interesting to see that at night!

Because then it only comes back for a couple of weeks.
It's better to remove it until the other season finishes, makes perfect sense.
What happens with the Anniversary show, we'll just have to see.

But it would be longer than a couple of weeks? If the Princess Waltz came back on January 27th along with the Happy Anniversary show and then ran until 31st March then thats over 2 months? I have 1 very disappointed daughter. :-(
It might simply be that they're not paying for the extra performers during low season (with Season of the Force on they need people for that) or that in the less than favourable weather the show would end up cancelled so often it wouldn't be worthwhile. When I was there over Christmas, Merry Stitchmas was cancelled plenty of time due to rain - presumably because it made the stage slippery and dangerous for the performers.
oh no - I've just seen no Mickey and Magician in Feb? My 3 year old has been talking about going again and I didn't even think that it might not be on.
Dont worry there will be lots of other things on in February. Lots of Star Wars shows in the Studios and 25th celebrations in the main park will be up and running again I suspect. Plenty to do and see, your wee one will have a ball regardless.

If it's helpful for future bookings, Mickey and the Magician takes a regularly break between January and March.
He'll love the star wars things, though I think we saw most of them on our last visit in August just not the evening show. I think in my head Mickey & Magician was a replacement for Anamagique which we were lucky enough to see each visit. We are booked for April 2019 so it will wait till then to see the show, it was fantastic!
