Not visiting until May, but what's the current deal with Magic Hours?
Has anyone got any opinions on the changes? Are they permanent, or seasonal?
They're permanent. And they're not much different than before, just divided over 2 parks.
If you want to use them to ride Crush before the parks properly open, make sure you're at WDS before 8:30 as there was a reasonable crowd waiting to go in already.
Main difference I noticed was Peter Pan got busy a lot more quickly (without Buzz to take some of the load it's an obvious place for families to head for) and you get less time in a very quiet park - with the old times the first hour was very quiet as most people were still having breakfast at this time.

I thought changes were quite radical. I'd read they were restricting it purely to Fantasyland in Parc Disney? Are you still able to get in at 8am, with the general public at 10?

Normal hours are 8:30-9:30 then the general public can get in though they can't get on rides unless DLP choose to open them early (which sometimes they do). Some days the hours are different so you need to check for the exact dates of your stay (today for example they're 8-9:30).
Both parks are open - in the Studios it's Crush, Ratatouille, RnR and the Parachute Drop.In the main park it's Peter Pan, Carousel, Teacups, Dumbo, Meet Mickey and the Princess Pavilion.
How is it working for those with 8.15am Plaza Gardens breakfast reservations? Is there a specific entrance we'd need to go to for this?

You just have to show your breakfast reservation vouchers to the cast members at the entrance and you'll be allowed through to the turnstiles.

Thanks, just what I wanted to know.
Doesn't Fantasyland get a bit packed, now Discoveryland is no longer an option?
I would have thought that it would limit the appeal though. Families with older children probably wouldn't be interested.

Sounds easy enough, thanks!
