Title: access to fastpass during extra magic
Post by: Cheeta Beachwood on October 22, 2017, 12:07:10 PM
I hope to take full advantage of extra magic hours but have a couple of questions.
Is it possible to stand in line for yet to open attractions during magic hours within Fantasyland to ensure a short wait time or is it frowned upon?
Are fast pass machines activated during magic hours to nearly guarantee an early return time for a popular attraction at the moment it opens? (for example: get a fast pass for Peter Pan during magic hours with a return time of 10 am)
Any tips are appreciated  :)

You can queue up from when you like although the official queue line might not be open.

The FP machines don't open until 10am and the first passes are for 10:30am IIRC.

Yes you can queue early for things if you want to. My husband waited in the queue outside  the princess pavilion whilst I took the kids on some rides, then we joined him at 10am and the kids only had a short wait to see Rapunzel. (I know the pavilion is open earlier now though!)

Fast pass machines are roped off until 10am in my experience. But always a good idea to be near to a fastpass machine for your desired ride at 10am. Then you get a nice early ride and can get another fastpass for something else a lot sooner :)
