Good morning ladies and gentlemen,
I'll be at the parks in about 2 weeks for 5 days, and for the first time I rented a car.
I'll be staying at the Vienna castle hotel, and my intention would be to drive every l morning to the parks, since the fantasy passport gives you free parking.
It is my understanding that the parks parking lot closes 30 min after the closure of both parks, and that the other parking close to the village (can't recall the name) doesn't offer the great value it used to anymore (something like 2.5€ for the whole day).
Now my question is: what if I want to have dinner at the studios after the park closure?
If the parking closes 30 minutes after the parks, what options do I have?
Do I have to drive back to the hotel and take the bus back
To the village or are there some parking lots nearby that do not close so early?
Thank you!
you cant eat at the Studios after park closes. The Studios usually close about an hour or two hours BEFORE the main park. Most of the restaurants in the studios close about an hour or two hours before the studios close. Places like Chez Remy which take reservations, you wont get a reservation any later than about an hour before the studios closes.

From what I've heard and understand on this forum, you can get out of the car park even if it's closed.
I belive you can't drive in, but you can drive out. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I assumed they meant the Village tbh.
Like the other poster, AFAIK you can still leave the carpark (30 minutes certainly wouldn't be long enough to get everyone out after park closure) but you just can't drive in.
You either show your card or pay when you enter the parking. It is a non gated drive out to exit. You can leave at any time. At New Year we didnt exit till 2am. Other times we have parked and left after bbwws.
sorry guys, I meant to write "eat at the village" not the studios...of course studios usually close before disneyland park... :-[
Anyhow that's very useful, I figured that it would be strange to give the guests only 30min to get out of the parking lot...what If you fall behind?! But it does make a lot more sense now...as I said, first time getting there by car...
Thank you all!

If you want to go eat in the Village after closing hours, and you're staying in a partner hotel, I would just take the free shuttle.
They run until 00h30, which gives you plenty of time!

That is what I usually do, but since this time I'll be renting a car I wanted to try and understand which way it's more practical...I always found myself exhausted at the end of the day, and waiting for the bus it's always been...well, you get my point ;)
