Title: Birthdays - is it worth booking the cake?

Hi

My daughter will turn 6 while we are away. Is is worth booking the birthday cake?

It depends on how many are in your party. The cake is huge and we have always ended up giving slices away to other diners in whatever restaurant we are in. You have an option to have it reboxed and you can take it back to your hotel but it means someone then has to leave the park to do so. It used to be made of ice cream so you couldnt do that but I believe it is still the chocolate cake which is very rich. The waiters do come out and sing happy birthday/anniversaire but there are no character unless you are in Auberge, Plaza gardens (breakfast only) or Inventions. IMO not worth it as most places you will have already paid for a dessert as part of your meal.

It is still an ice cream cake but worth the money I think if she is 6 to have them all sing to her. You will be amazed how many people have the cakes so she might be upset if they sing to everyone else not her.

To be fair if you have a meal anywhere and have dessert if you say it is a birthday they will sing anyway!
