Hello good people of Magic Forum!
I seem to recall reading that there is WiFi now in the parks and hotels? Can anyone confirm? I'd love to record some Live videos on my Facebook whilst there for my family to see.
It's in some of the hotels (not universally yet but being introduced pretty quickly - we had it in the Cheyenne). Whilst it is in the park, it isn't at the moment available for public use.
Officially the Cheyenne is still limited to WiFi in the reception/bar building but I had it in our room.
No Public WiFi in the park and 3/4G signals depend on your carrier. I often only had 2G on O2.

I assume all the refurbished buildings at the Cheyenne have WiFi now but it won't be officially listed until they all have it.
Ahhhhh okay!
Kirk is going to be so bummed out when he realises that he can't keep checking BBC Sport every hour ;)
There's WiFi in certain areas of the Studios as of this week.
I've seen on ED92 that they have started rolling out the wifi in the parks. I imagine it will take some time to get full coverage up and running though.
hello,
depending on which mobile network you are with, you might not have to pay to use your mobile data abroad so it will just come out of your usual 3g/4g allowance. Whilst I didn't go to DLP, we have just come back from a week in France. I'm on O2 and it didn't cost me any extra to use my data abroad. whether the signal will be strong/reliable enough to do live video I'm not sure but you should be able to check the sports :P

You can use your data plan in the EU as of June at no additional cost :) So if you already pay for data in the UK, you'll be able to use that in Paris for free.

I'm pretty sure Roaming charges throughout European countries are now illegal regardless of network. Though this may only apply to Pay Monthly contracts and no PAYG.
Signal wise I am told O2 do not offer any 4G in France and their 3G partnerships were patchy.
EE I am assured are actually very good for a signal at the parks.
