Title: Beginning of Dec or week after Christmas? What do you recommend?

Hi everyone

I am a newbie and so pleased I've found this forum! 

I'm pretty flexible and not sure whether to go beginning of Dec or couple days after Christmas.  When is it quieter??  When would you recommend??

Beginning of December we found fairly quiet. Between Xmas and new years is supposed to be the bussiest time of the year.

Definitely the beginning of December. Both French and English schools break up really late this year (22nd December) so any time before then should be good as long as it's during the week.

Between Christmas and New Year is the 2nd busiest week of the year other than Halloween.

We are going for the Xmas season. But going 20th November
