Title: Character Breakfast
Post by: andya on July 04, 2017, 10:52:41 AM
Hi all,

We're off to DLP in August and we've just booked a character breakfast at PG.

Does anyone have any experience, any tips or anything we need to know?

Also, with it being August, (17th-21st) how busy is it likely to be?

Thanks

we did character breakfast last year at Mickeys café, it was full but we did meet a lot,
goofy, tiger, eyore, mickey, chip, dale, pluto. Mr Smee was also there but he was only just starting coming round as we finished & we had already met him.  a couple of those characters came to us twice to. Id say be patient, they will get to you & if you haven't met one of them yet but finished just sit and wait, you have paid for it after all. The characters to go in for a bit but not all at once.

Hi, yes characters will sign autographs at the meals. They will also pose for photos and interact with the diners!

Enjoy!!

We did this last week at the second sitting which wasn't over full at all. We got Mickey, Daisy, Scrooge, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore.

Be patient and enjoy it - the characters have a preset route and will come to all tables. There's a little card on the table to tell diners how to behave which was adhered to by 99.9% of people there. Some young children got over excited and run off but the characters and their assistants are good at deflecting.

We have been there last week (13 july 2017). The characters has come around to every table.
The sign in the autographbook and pose for a picture or two.
Under a breakfast we meet 6 characters.

Thanks it sounds well worth the price. It was only £54 for myself and my son to add it to our booking. If we can meet 6 characters and have a good breakfast I say that's good value.

I can see how it adds up for a bigger family though.

We did the character breakfast in Plaza Gardens at the end of June.
They assign you a place to sit and every character will pass every table.
But: we were set at the end of their 'round' and the people from the restaurant were eventually rushing us to get a picture and an autograph. Part of my pictures failed because of this :(

How much will this cost for 2 adults and a child? is it really worth it?

I know you can get a birthday cake for a charge for particular restaurants but do Characters bring out the cake?
