I read this in one of the unofficial guides and was wondering if this is a hoax or an actual thing?
Thank you!
Cheers,
Gilles
I'm not sure what you mean by "separate" FP's, but both attraction offer the FastPass-service.
The book says that the FPs of these attractions are seperate from the rest of the system apparently. So you can have FPs to those attractions even if you already have another FP from one of the other linked attractions... :-\
I have never heard of that, i do know the FP's from the Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios are separate.
The Star Tours one is completely separate which means you never join the main queue like at Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast. Since the reopening of Big Thunder Mountain, the FP Lane there is also completely separate. At least when we were riding it. In the past you were merged with the normal queue somewhere in the middle. I don't know about Indiana Jones, haven't been on that ride for years.
Hi, and thanks for all the answers, but I am referring to the text passage in the attachement.

I haven't heard of that before. It's worth a try isn't it? I'll have a go when we visit late July - see if it will let me have hyperspace mountain and star tours at the same time..
Would be awesome if this works!
Wow. I haven't heard of that but haven't tried so it could be true. The new star tours system might have changed anyway.
That would be cool though, looking forward to hear if it works
When we went in Feb I tested this theory and it did indeed work. We had Fastpasses for Peter Pan and I just tried on the off-chance to get Indi FP's too and we got them - but it wouldn't work elsewhere in DLP. But, hubby did go over to Studios and managed to get us Ratatouille ones as well.
Ah, brilliant! Will definitely try this too! Will keep you posted!
Good luck! ;D
Arrived home from DLP an hour ago... I wish I had known this last week :( would have been great to do a Star Tours / Buzz FP double!. The new Star Tours is excellent, a real step up from the old one with 3D, better graphics & a variety of journeys... ah well, I still have my September trip to look forward to... :P
Like I say, it was February when we did it last so please don't rely on it still being a thing in case it has stopped. I'd hate for anyone to be disappointed. Hopefully someone there now / soon can update :)
Indy is always a walk-on later in the day in my experience, even on busy days
Handy bit of info! Thanks for that! :)
