Title: Christmas at DLP
Post by: Stitchandco on May 16, 2017, 05:47:12 PM
Hi we're looking to go to DLP the first week of Jan 2018 to catch the last week of the Christmas season. Does anyone know whether the free half board offer ever covers the Christmas period?
Also will the stars on parade still be on or just the Christmas parade?
Finally does anyone know the approx  time of the fireworks at this time of year?
Any other views on Christmas at DLP would be gratefully received! Thanks

If you put your dates in for a quote it should tell you. We are going the first week of Jan with half board but we paid for it and the only issue we had was that it wouldn't allow the meal plan if dates included new year's eve, our previous trip did. We arrive Jan 1st.

If you wait until October to book usually they have 20% and free half board for that time of year then. We went in 2016 on the second week of January and all the Christmas decorations were still up but the Christmas parades had stopped.

When we went in November at the start of the Christmas season before they had both Christmas Cavalcade  and then the full normal parade

Thanks for your replies. The current offer is 1 free night over the Christmas period. It ends beginning of Oct which I'm guessing is when the free half board will start?
Does anyone know the approx time of the fireworks during Xmas season? We're looking to go on 2nd Jan

I think the 1st & 2nd Jan are about 10pm close the following days are about 7pm closures so roughly half hour before that.
