Title: Christmas in november
Post by: Ehg_92 on April 22, 2017, 10:44:23 AM
What sort of volume of Christmas celebrations can I expect to be open or running for the last week of November) 27th-1st)
Is everything on, snow, tree lighting shows etc or just starting up slow ready for actual Christmas?

The weather is very hard to predict. It could be cold and rainy with stormy winds, or calm, sunny and about 10 degrees Celcius.
Last year it was dry with a temperate of about 5 degrees which felt like about 1 or 2 degrees.

We've been mid November just as the christmas season had started, and it was full on everything. So you can look forward to that. The weather wasn't great, rain every day, and about 12-15 degrees at best. But not very crowded, which was lovely!

We go that week every year (Sun-Thurs) and it's great because the queues aren't massive, and it's a fab start to our Christmas celebrations. It really puts you in the mood.

Weather has been really cold in the past but recent years quite mild and never really had too wet.

We were there around the 10th ish of November before and they had started to put the decorations up a few days before that.

We are looking to hook around the 5th November.  Does anyone know how subtley the decorations change between Halloween and Christmas?  It's our first ever trip so would hate for it to be a half and half mess ha ha! Or would it be better to go late November and just embrace Christmas?
