Hi just wondering what you all do at the end of a busy day when kids are tired and legs are aching etc. On our next visit we are travelling with 5 kids - ages 8, 5, 5, 3 and 17m.
We are obviously taking buggy for the little one but it's more for the others I'm thinking of.
I seem to remember seeing someone with what can only be described as a trolley/pull along cart last time. Are these available / are you allowed to bring your own?
We are staying at sequoia so I know it's not far but this was difficult with only 4 last time!
The woman I saw with a cart thing had bought it from mothercare......seemed a very good idea. Alternatively take a cheap buggy for the bigger ones to take turns in?
We usually grab one of the abandoned park buggies near to the entrance after parade and my 2 take it turns to ride. It keeps them going all evening then.
If we found a cart do you think it would be allowed into the park?
I think the buggy suggestions are great but even with tired legs the older ones would say they are too big for a buggy. I may grab an abandoned park buggy for our 3 yr old though!
I would say park buggies look very attractive to a tired 'I'm really too big for that" 5yo at the end of a busy day!!!
Don't forget park buggies are really quite big! I've seen a fair few smaller adults perched on one of these with burning feet ;)
Are you allowed to take buggies out of the park? I thought there were people on the gate stoping people from taking them through the gates.
