Title: King Ludwigs
Post by: SophieMiddleton on December 06, 2016, 11:43:05 AM
Anyone eaten at King Ludwigs recently??? We used to really enjoy it and want to try it again, just want to know whether it's still a good eatery or not.

I ate there in May and was very unimpressed.  I ate there several years ago and really enjoyed it, so I was very disappointed.  My meal was dry and not very appetising.

We also had a really grumpy server!

The only good thing was the apple strudel desert which was lovely.

A grumpy server is a must since they pretend to serve German food.

We've eaten here every trip for at least 4 years now and we visit 2-3 times per year so for us it's a must do restaurant.
There is alof of choice on the menu and we personally rate it.

It's a great restaurant and always seems to be quiet. Our meals have been brilliant there

I like it here. Food is okay and reasonably priced. Tried the steak tartare and didn't have to visit the hospital (yay!).
I've noticed last time they have a plat du jour for only €15 + a drink. Could work out wel for those who are on a budget.
