Title: Bistrot Chez Remy
Post by: TJBezz on November 14, 2016, 09:14:10 AM
Has anyone tried this restaurant please?
we booked this for lunch however after looking at the photos from trip advisor we are unsure
(food does not look very appealing and in some photos it looks cheap)

I think there are mixed feelings on it. We went in June and loved it, kids loved the food, my steak was beautiful and the theming is amazing. I know others have had bad service there but nothing was too much trouble for our waitress. We're revisiting in April and will definitely be booking back in to Chez Remy

The food isn't very exciting, but it's fine - not more than that either. My 3 children didn't enjoy their meals. Service was fine.

I can“t agree regarding the steak. I once had a steak there and it was mediocre at best, same goes for the steak house in the village. I never had a decent steak in DLP.

Do you think restaurant des stars would be a better option?
Or any other recommendations?
We'll be spending that day in the studios

for tge ambience is go for chez remy.  we go every trip- maybe I'm just not as accustomed to fine steak.  we've always loved our food there and we've eaten there over 6 times.  service can be slow but again no more than any other table servicE restaurant.  restaurant des stars is a great budget but I'll lacks character

I've eaten there twice.  The theming is amazing and we had good service on both occasions.  The food is OK.  There is only a limited menu.  My main course and desert were nice but I wasn't a fan of the salad starter at all. But that might just be my personal preference.
