Hi all
Me and my girlfriend are heading to DLP next June. When is the best time to book Eurostar tickets?
Looking on their website, we can book direct return tickets now, but they're rather expensive. Any recommendations when we should book? Do Eurostar have sales?
Personally I've never seen the direct tickets go in a sale, also they tend to get more expensive as time goes on rather than cheaper..... :'( I think they do them in 'blocks' and as they sell a certain number the price goes up for the next block.
Hopefully someone else will be able to confirm this for sure for you
The direct train is always on sale earlier than the normal routes which go on sale just 3 months in advance
I would book ASAP as they will only go up in price from my experience although u may be lucky.
It's coming to £220 direct return for the pair of us. Is this a good price?
Hi the cheapest direct returns are £72 as soon as they release, then it tends to go up and up. I've seen them at around £180 per person before.
We've travelled every possible way to disneyland Paris before, car, bus, flight, magic shuttle, TGV and Eurostar. If given the choice I'd pick eurostar every time.
If you can fly check out jet2 to Charles de gaulle then a transfer but I would guess it would be only a little less than the 220.
We went last week on the direct service and paid £144 and we booked it right back in Jan x
We have flown from Gatwick and got the flights for about the same price but after adding transfers on and the time we wouldn't do it that way again.
I wish I had booked earlier it's coming up as £94 each way per adult for direct service at the moment. Do you think the price will change again looking to go end May/beginning June next year.
I would book them at £94. If you think about it it's only £11 each way more expensive than the cheapest possible seats. We've had to pay £104 per adult and £77 per child for our dates in July/August as clearly in high demand due to school holidays.
Even with extra cost, would still rather go via eurostar. A nice relaxing start to the holiday.
Thanks for your advice disneymagic006 will keep it in mind and I agree it is a nice easy journey from my last experience.
