So POTC is being refurbished from Jan 2017 - Summer 2017. Does anyone know when in summer it will be open?
Can't understand why they would leave he refurb so late. Surely they should have aimed to have all refurbs finished before the 25th Anniversary launch in April? Or to have the refurb finished for May when POTC movie is released?
I've been wondering this too as we go from the 4th September 2017 and Pirates is one of my favourites! I'm hoping it'll mean sometime before then but it could also mean at the end of the summer season which is sometime in September I believe

Could be a number of reasons -
Didn't want to have too many rides / attractions being refurbed (and down) at one time.
Didn't have the capacity to have so many refurbs going on at one time.
Maybe the people doing the refurb are busy elsewhere (in the world?)?
I think it's due to reopen at the end of June 2017.
My daughter is going to be gutted as it'll be closed when we go, but there'll be plenty of other things to amaze her!!!

Ohhhh I really hope so!
And there's the chance they may to a soft opening to test any new effects out before its proposed re-opening date.
However this is certainly not guarenteed and is likely to happen randomly.
