Title: Lucky nugget
Post by: grawns on June 27, 2016, 12:14:50 AM
Hello wonderfully helpful people,
I was hoping to pick your brains again regarding the lucky nugget. I'm going in March with my husband, son five and daughter 3 as a surprise trip and we are staying in hotel Cheyenne in one of the newly refurbished rooms. I've gotten my son and daughter woody and Jessie costumes for the surprise reveal as they love toy story and woody in particular. I was thinking of taking them to the lucky nugget on the first day for lunch I know that this place is worth less than the half meal vouchers and I'm trying to figure out if I order four meal and pay with three vouchers and keep one of my vouchers for later in the week would that be ok?
Also would you eat a buffet dinner after eating lunch here or would it be too much food?
For lunch I'd normally split a McDonald's happy meal between them do you think I could do that for the size of the kids meal here? ( just to clarify I don't normally give them a happy meal for lunch but on the rare occasion that they do I spilt. 😀)
Thank you for all your expert guidance.

As far as I am aware you cannot use more or less vouchers to pay for a meal you have to just present 1 each.   I'd just see how you feel for a meal later.  It's a lot of walking around the kids may get hungry later on

As Vikkilou said it's 1 voucher per person. If the restaurant you choose offers meals that cost less than your vouchers, then you lose money. Some CMs discourage you from using your vouchers in lower tier restaurants for the above reason.

Having just come back and visited the Lucky Nugget I would discourage you from using the vouchers for lunch there. It really is just a burger and chips (a nice one albeit). We had a cowboy day and visited Buffalo Bills for the 9.30 late show that same night and we were all hungry again! I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong but I think you can use your vouchers for money off the Show Ticket which includes their food? Splash out for one day and make it a real treat!

Oh and while we were at the Lucky Nugget a couple of kids at the next table were sharing one meal without any fuss from staff.

Thank you so much for your replies. I'm really trying to justify the 168 price tag for bbwws. Think we might just pay cash and split the kids meals we will be doing plaza gardens later and with the teatime treat I'm sure there will be more than enough food.

I think you can use your meal vouchers to bring down the cost of bbwws. The top up price is no more than going to a panto. You get a full meal, unlimited soft drinks or beer, a evening of unforgettable entertainment...oh and a cowboy hat to keep each. IMO I would skip the Nugget which was only so so and keep your money for Bills instead!
