Hi everyone,
We are staying in a cheap hotel in the town of Meaux (about 15 mins from the parks) on the night before our holiday officially begins with Disney so that we can make the most of our first day.
We plan to get up about 7am and go to our Disney hotel between 7.30am and 8am to get our park tickets (I've checked and we can pick them up that early) so that we can head into the park.
I'm looking for somewhere off site where we can grab a breakfast that early, preferably nearer to Meaux, or in between Meaux and Davy Crockett, does anybody know anywhere? I assumed we could just get a McDonald's but the ones nearby don't open until 9am which is too late. Are there any other restaurant chains that might be open early selling breakfast items? Or is 9am opening standard in France? McDonalds here opens about 6am and some are 24 hours so I just assumed it would be the same there but that doesn't appear to be the case!
Any ideas very much appreciated.
I know you said you were looking for somewhere offsite, but had you considered an onsite breakfast - Hotel New York?
We've had breakfast in there a few times, but not for around a year. Can anyone advise on price and opening times?
When you arrive at your Disney hotel, can't you just have brekkie there then jump on the shuttle? There will probably be a small charge but IMO much easier than running around trying to find somewhere else.
I'm guessing from your post you're staying at Davy Crockett? you can purchase baguette etc in the ship there wHich compared with posting for breakfast isn't to expensive at all. not sure what time annettes opens but i did notice I dlp guide that yoy can pay for breakfast at most hotels. dlh used to be amazing. ..until they pour the price up to 40 euros! !!!

Yes we are staying at Davy Crockett, great idea about paying extra for breakfast in one of the hotels. I'll have to ring and ask for a price. They do breakfast bags at Davy Crockett so I'm wondering if I could purchase a couple of those maybe?

breakfast bags at DavY Crockett are about 9 euro per person. for a half baguette and croissant and done spreads. a full size Bauer from tge davy crockery shop is about 2 euros. n cheese our ham about 4 euros a pack.

New York does hot and cold breakfast - sausage, bacon, egg, the others cold - ham, cheese, rolls, cereals etc.
The Disneyland Hotel also does hot breakfast, but they increased the price to around 40 euros to discourage people not staying at the hotel from going there. Locals were visiting the hotel for breakfast, seeing the characters for free, then going home without entering the park.
If you have breakfast at a Disney hotel, you can usually park in their car park - just explain to the person on the gate that you are going for breakfast. Leave your car there while you go in the park.

Oh the shop sounds like a much better bet then. I'll be bringing loads of drinks and snacks with us too as we're driving over so if I can pick some bits up in the shop when we go to get our park tickets that should see us through the day until our evening meal. Thank you.

I really like this idea but there's 5 of us so I think it would add too much to our costs. We're going for 7 days so we are already 'pushing the boat out' as they say, and we're doing character dining and Chez Remy too which all adds up. Thank you for the idea though, I will keep it in mind if we can eek a bit more out of our budget!
Most petrol stations sell baguetts and croissants.
Oh yes, I forgot about the petrol station at Santa Fe, that's another option then, thank you.
HNY breakfast is about €25 now.
I had breakfast one day in Annette's a couple of weeks ago. They only start serving at 10 so maybe too late for your requirements but it's only €13 and so big it comes on two plates!

Wow, that price has shot up! It used to be around 12 Euros. I guess they're trying to discourage non hotel guests from having breakfast in the New York too.
