D'you mean the Mickey topiarys? If so, I'm not sure, but you can get them in the English Disney Store online....

£85!   and thats just the frame! No plant!

It'd be easier to bring something like that through on car/ferry, but I'm not sure what the rules are. I know when we moved from UK to Germany and then back again we couldnt bring any plants into either countries.

Hope that helps. Maybe someone may know if the rules are different for France/UK.

2003 I bought a Mickey topiary (frame and plant) and it wasn't a problem to get it through customs. Neither in France nor in Germany. I was handluggage.
But with the new flight restrictions I can't tell, if it is still possible.  :?

I could see it being a problem bringing it back to the UK though.

I've actually been onto the customs web site, cos you got me thinking about this and I cant find anything, just about meat and dairy.

Is it worth contacting your airline to see what they say?

i don't know if they'll accept it or not.

As said above Contact your airline before you leave to Disneyland. I guess it may also depend on
1) How much weight your taking already (more than the limit etc.)
2) if they have room for it.

yup but don't forget to phone them before anyway. You don't want to buy it and be told it's not allowed.

I bought a Mickey plant as a present last summer (June) from the really expensive art/picture shop in Disney Village. I think it was about €25 but then saying that, I brought it back on the Eurostar so it was no problem at all...but there's loads of new regulations about flying now so I'm not so sure about bringing something like this back on a plane.

have just had response from my airline  - I too want a topiary! They have told me I can bring one back as long as it conforms size wise with hand luggage! Hurrah! :D

Oh, I wish I'd read this before our trip, I really wanted to buy one but hubby said he didn't think we'd be allowed to bring it back - I guess there is always next time !  I think I'd like two, one on either side of my front door

Do they still sell the plants ? On my last trip they were on sale for a cheap price, but sadly we didn't bought one. If they are still available we would like to buy one this time. And we will not have any problems bringing it home, because we're by car. ;-)
