I just saw that the closures at DLPGuide were updated for June, and it's now showing that Space Mountain will be closed starting June 20. Does anyone know if that's official? The Disney website is still showing it closing in January 2017.
when i was on the disney website the other day it said space mountain was closed from the 20th onwards (i checked each day from the 20-24th as that is when i am going) so i am not sure when its scheduled to reopen
Why is space mountain closing again? How long for? They can't have this major attraction shut as well.
i dont know why and its only closed until the beginning of july from what i can see so around 10 days its closed for.....
its closed from 20th of June and reopens on July 1st.
this is just for general maintenance.
It's seems to have a lot of maintenance this ride.
Glad it will be open for when we go, couldn't have both daughters in a one because their favourite rides are shut, it's bad enough I have one who is unhappy haha
yeah my poor daughter is going to be upset when she realizes BTM is closed !!! she loves it :)
BTM is the only big ride my youngest will go on & the last few visits it's been broken down or shut for maintenance. She is devastated, she got me pricing up for next year once it's open haha
hahaha oh dear .. yeah my DD went on ToT last time and didn't like it ... shes too little for Indy and Space Mountain id say .... :) shes only 7 hahahaha
I cant even tell her because she doesn't know we are going lol
To be honest, it really needs the refurb.
I went on it last week, and it was painful - my head was rattled against the seat/restraint so much that I couldn't enjoy the ride. :(
They will install new trains when it closes in January.
Hope they will change the theme as back well.. #whishfullthinking
